long story short i asked to change my drinks for a large , and mentioned i would pay for whatever however she refused me service? i asked her why and she ignored me...and then i went inside and dealt with not only her but her other coworker who was also rude and disrespectful and basically just didn't want to do their job. I understand working is hard, however we all work. there is no reason to be that hostile and rude and overall disrespectful over a strawberry lemonade! im still confused as to what the actual issue was because money definitely wasn't it. either way people here are rude af, i would hate to work with people like that & i feel bad for the one employee who pointed out it was just a lemonade and looked extremely embarrassed. so disappointing because i live close & come to this location often. read more

Ok, so Zaxbys isn't bad.. i'll start off with the coleslaw, it's generic coleslsw nothing special creamy slivers of carrots and lettuce, the fries are just normal crinklecut the seasoning they put on it imo i can hardly taste it but they weren't too soft but slightly crispy so they were ok, the chicken was probably the best out of everything, it was very generous with the crispiness and the seasonings on it was very noticeable, it tastes like salt as well as some other peppery seasoning not very juicy but not dry either, the toast wasn't really crispy but garlicy and greasy imo it was ok and once you have 1 youve had it all kinda thing, the sweet tea was the second best thing very close to the chicken it was not overpoweringly sweet but fairly sweet not bland at all very good sweet tea, it wasn't terrible but for just a generic chicken restaurant it was one of the better ones imo. read more

Not sure why they got someone at the front counter that can barely speak English. Just about lost my shit too when I walked in and there was 4 people girls up there that just looked at me when I walked in and continued talking to each other like I wasn't standing right in front of them. Took them about 5 minutes to finally acknowledge me. And then when they asked my name I had to repeat it 6 times and finally just let them put whatever bc they obviously can't understand what I'm saying. How do you confuse Israel with drew? and then had the audacity to give me attitude about it, then proceed to look at each other and laugh at me, AS IM STANDING THERE ORDERING. The food was very wonderful and tasted warm and delicious. The service was very well in the sense that the food was done at the time that they estimated (we had a large order that equaled out to be for 7 people so this was very lovely) and the staff member made sure everything was ready before having us pull around. Along with all of the orders being correct and everything being there in the bag. I don't get the negative reviews for this store. We have been here 3 times during our trip and each time everything was fine. Service quick, staff friendly enough and helpful, store clean (even bathroom) and food prepared well. It's a fast food restaurant...I'm not expecting much more than this and think some others leaving 1 or 2 stars should do the same. Staff all wearing masks...more than many establishments in area. Went thru the drive thru today and wasn't sure how to redeem our rewards. Ariane A was most unhelpful. Rolled her eyes when I asked her how to redeem. She said..."sorry, don't know how to do that". We had someone on our trip continuously bring up Zaxby's. They were telling us how great it was and that we just had to go check it out. We eventually gave in. And it's a very good thing we did. The inside was very cool. Lots of different decor everywhere, including funny phrases! We ended up getting a grilled chicken salad and chicken strips. The melt was so tender and juicy, it felt like it literally melted in my mouth. The salad was nice and fresh! Lots of crunchy greens, egg, bacon (although I wish there was more bacon, there wasn't much of that.) tomato and no fried onions for me. I don't really like the taste onions that much. But the salad didn't need it, it was so amazing on it's own. And the chicken strips or something that I know it definitely come back for. I can't wait to try something off there! read more

I just attended Zaxby's today and found out that when I ordered my six piece wimpy boneless wings I did not in fact, get my six piece, boneless wimpy wings I got instead, six piece barbecue, boneless wings. I will not be returning to this establishment, because the person that took my order did not listen to the words coming out of my mouth. I am usually a HUGE fan of Zaxby's since it's so rare for me to actually dine here due to the fact that there are no chains where I live (thanks New Orleans). So when I was on vacation and saw that there was a Zaxby's here in PCB, I quickly came here for lunch. The food was great, however, the service was abysmal. The cashier/something manager was absolutely one of the rudest people I have ever encountered in the industry. His tone and his demeanor in which he spoke to my friend and I was unpleasant as if we were an inconvenience. The order that I usually get at Zaxby's (10 piece fingers with half buffalo and half regular) seemed to be so complicated with him that at the end I just got a 5 piece fingers. It was very disheartening coming. It's sad how you will be fond of the food, but all it takes is one Slavic Gotnas (name of cashier) to ruin that for you. read more

This "meal" experience single handedly ruined my day. My wife and I stopped in after a day on the beach, it was rather empty so we were able to order right away. I ordered a Club Combo and a Coke. I was given my receipt, but when I asked for a soda cup the cashier said that I had order drinks separately from my combo. When I pointed out that I had in fact ordered a soda (and had paid for one, as my receipt had proven) the young lady behind the counter curtly told me that they "don't give free drinks." WHAT?! Who said anything about a "free" drink?! Apparently this Zaxby's won't even sell you a soda, though they will take your money. I tried to talk more with the cashier but she simply WALKED AWAY FROM THE CASH REGISTER and ignored me. My wife and I were furious. We decided to leave before our food even came out, as this experience with this cashier had entirely ruined our appetite. I'm an avid fast food fan from the West Coast, and was intrigued after seeing Zaxby's banana shake commercial starring Wayne Brady. Their chicken stands up against Popeye's, and obviously dominates KFC. I'll definitely be stopping in the next time my travels bring me by a Zaxby's! read more

I went here with some friends when we were visiting PCB. The food wasn't bad (fried chicken is kinda hard to screw up) but my food was sitting in the window for several minutes while several employees passed it by until someone finally saw it. During lunch hours they are ok, however, after dark the staff seem to give zero f**** about anything other than entertaining each other. Wrong orders are given at will which I wouldn't normally complain about but I got my food to go and only realized once at home that there were problems but still not much to complain about until I took a bite of my supposed to be mild chicken only to realize that I had bitten into a volcano and how fortunate that I ordered extra cole slaw but wait they decide to substitute all sides for fries. Usually love this Zaxby's location. The staff is friendly and does nice job. BUT.. tonight things were not handled well. They have the same person who is filling your drinks cleaning the dining area! First of all we stood there for about 5 mins. waiting for her to notice we needed our drinks filled since during Covid 19 they will not all you to fill your own drinks. She finally walks over with the bottle of cleaning fluid in her hands and gloves on and reaches for me to give her my cup! I said oh no you'll need to change your gloves, she says yes I will but give me your cup. I told her not until you change your gloves. She gives me a nasty look and strips off the dirty gloves she had been cleaning tables with and puts on new ones then I allow her to fill my drink. Well, I have a feeling she has done this all day so no matter the scoop she then picked up to scoop ice probably had been contaminated anyway! Under NO circumstances during this time should the person cleaning and disinfecting the dining area handle anything to do with patrons food preparation! Whoever made this assignment needs to be educated, covid 19 or not! No one handling cleaning should then return to food preparation without strict cleaning practices! I am a registered nurse and was appalled she didnt seem to understand or say no problem, I got a attitude look from her. She is working hard but needs to understand how important her job is to the customer. Honestly allow people to fill their own cups with drinks and provide wipes for the touch machine. The way it is being handled is absolutely wrong, cleaning dirty tables then handle my drink, opening the ice caddy wide open and scooping ice with dirty gloves! I have had Zaxby's many times before but it had not registered how expensive they are! On top of their overpriced "zalads" they want $2.09 for a small drink! Could have gone to any casual full service restaurant and been waited on for the same price! Seems to be a Zaxby trend to nickel and dime you from other posts I have seen, pay extra for water, sauce, etc. Won't be surprised if soon I ask for additional napkins and they want a quarter!
