I entered the drive thru & placed my order at 6:11pm. I paid for my order & was asked to park, I complied. At 6:28 I exited my car to see actually what the problem was. Not only had they NOT made my order, but they forgot about me all together! I asked the manager for a refund and even that took an additional 6 minutes! The employees were rude, our order was incorrect and we were missing items. The food was about average price for fast food but overpriced for the quality. The drink machine was out of most every flavor, and was absolutely filthy! As if it had not been cleaned in weeks! The drinks that were available had no syrup, so it was not drinkable. They made me a "new one" from the machine in the back. More on that later. I hoped that the food would at least be decent enough to eat. Boy was I wrong! Went in today and ordered food to go. I didn't see the tiny sign indicating extra sauce has a cost $.25 each. I said to the employee perhaps it would be a good idea to mention that at the point of sale so extras can be added to tickets vs not even mentioning it. I walked in and ordered 20 wings at 7:22pm. I asked the cashier: is it okay to do ten wings of one flavor and ten wings of another? She said yes. Apparently it's not okay, but nobody told us until the other people I was with got their order and the cashier tried to convey this to us through them. (We all know how crappy games of telephone turn out anyway.) She couldn't come out and tell us directly herself because the lazy staff members had friends coming in & bringing them dinner from McDonald's, clearly prioritizing their hunger over mine. We went up and rectified the order and picked 20 of one flavor. Around 7:53 our friends had finished eating. Which is awesome because that's the point of fast food. But I still had no wings. We walked up to the counter to inquire about the wait time. The fine, upstanding staff of Zaxby's had not even started the order. They had "completely forgotten!" We asked for a refund and the lug of a manager came out to issue it. He didn't apologize, and when asked what he planned to do in the future to avoid similar Customer service issues, he said, "you're already getting a refund. I'm not going to give you anything else." Ay, there's the rub. How can you expect the regular staff to do any better when the manager himself disregards the customers? How can you expect to run a fast food chain when It takes more than 30 minutes to make 20 wings? That's slower than 1 wing per minute. In the fast food game, slow and steady will not win this race. Never seen a zaxbys so empty at lunchtime...... I think I know why. ...... I ordered three cookies with my order last Thursday and didn't get them in my bag ..... I thought for sure they would just add them to my order for free today .... boy was I wrong I guess trying to get a $1.50 in cookies for free is a common occurrence here.. Long story short: They get my order wrong, I wait 25 more minutes in drive-thru to only end up arguing with the employees about receiving my missing stuff. After 5 minutes of legit yelling and cursing amongst the employees in the restaurant, I finally get my fries, but still no toast. Oh, by the way, I was accused of lying to them. All of the food was vile and disgusting. I am actually nervous about getting sick from the food. Plus nobody was abiding safety guidelines whatsoever. No masks. I made the biggest mistake of them all by not driving away while I had the chance. A man like me just wanted his chicken after a long day. Normally, I don't review fast food restaurants, because...what's the point? However, I was so impressed by the management and staff at this particular Zaxby's location, I was prompted to write this review. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted warmly and treated with friendly and efficient service. My food came out fresh, hot, and fast. A staff member offered me a free cookie at the end of my meal, and also offered to clear my tray from the table. You don't find this level of service at many regular restaurants anymore, let alone a fast food chain. In addition to the excellent customer service, they were also running several specials which set them apart from other Zaxby's locations. i.e. $4 house salads during lunch hours (normally $7) and 10% coupons for your next visit. These are the kinds of extra touches that not only get people in the door, but also keep them coming back. Kudos to the staff and management, you are doing everything right! read more

Extremely slow drive through. After 20 min I had to exit line to go in to rest room. I let front line know that I was 3 cars from drive through window and would be right back. She let drive through cashier know. When I returned I watched 4 cars pass the window and notified Azariah on front line that i had been missed. She took it upon herself to cash me out of drive through register. Drive through cashier couldn't have cared less. Thanked sharia and went to car. Had to go back in to get salad dressing. I stopped by this location during Teacher Appreciation Week because this location was participating in the Zaxby's Teacher Appreciation Special. Boy, was I (and my colleague) extremely disappointed at the service and the lack appreciation shown towards educators. Let's start off with the phone call my colleague made to this location prior to arriving. She called to inquire on whether this location was participating. The male who answered her phone call stated "I should tell you no, but yes, we are participating" after she asked. We were shocked, but didn't let that detour us - I mean after all we are educators, our patience is a little longer than most. When we arrived, the place was busy, but not hectic (especially for lunch time). When we got up to the counter, the young lady taking our orders was busy talking and playing around. She immediately stopped with a look of annoyance on her face and said "if y'all are teachers, we need your ID and the flyer. She then walked off (without looking at anything or saying anything further). We had the flyer available on our mobile device (this was accepted at other Zaxby's). I ordered a salad and it was only about 5 people in the restaurant. When they first brought it out, it was the wrong one and that took almost 12 mins. This young girl comes to the window and asks me and my boyfriend " What you want?!" So even though she was rude, we proceed to order. I just drove through here at 2 PM to grab lunch and got trapped in the drive-through line for over half an hour. I couldn't exit the lane due to the drive-through set up and there were seven cars behind me and I don't know how many in front of me. I actually called Zaxby's on the phone to see if there was anyway that they could move traffic, serve faster, or if they were even open. Not surprisingly they did not answer the phone and at the first opportunity I was able to exit the drive-through and go to Chick-fil-A where I got food within two minutes of hitting the pavement in their parking lot. I usually like Zaxby's and perhaps it's just the people that work at this particular location but like many of the restaurants in Jonesboro I can see this one going out of business soon with the "service" provided. If you have an hour out of your day to go eat fast food and really want some chicken this is the place for you. read more

I never write reviews but this will be the exception. Went through the drive thru today and ordered the usual buffalo blue zalad with blue cheese and a medium diet coke. There was only one car ahead of me in the drive thru and no one inside so you would expect exceptional service with no issues right? Wrong! I get toast that was so hard you could have grated parmesan cheese with it! Their was no blue cheese dressing in the bag and apparently they want you to eat the zalad with a plastic knife!
