Holy cow is this place pathetic. Came in for lunch, not that long after the place opened, and most of their supplies were out. Coke machine was all out and ketchup was out. I was working in the area so this will prob be my only review of this location. I went to this Zaxby's at lunch, and the service was a little slower than expected. They had a "now hiring, day shift" out front so they maybe short on staff. I ordered a chicken finger sandwich and the bread was hard, I suspect it was either old or been exposed to air for too long. When I arrived at Zaxby's I knew it was going to be a bad experience when I walked into the front door the the trash cans were overflowed onto the floor. Once I ordered I quickly realized the workers cared more about closing up for the night than focusing on the customers. I love the idea that they claim to be "not fast food"; but they are. They claim that the long waits are because you get "cooked to order" food; I've had cold food there. 3 strikes you're out. We recently moved to the area. I'm a huge fan of Zaxby's and was excited to have one so close to me. The first time I visited every table was dirty and I waited 15 minutes on a salad. There were only 2 people ahead of me in line and only 3 people sitting in the restaurant. The second time we went only one person was working the front, there were 15 people in line, and before we could order they told us they closed the kitchen. It was late afternoon not close to closing. Yesterday, I went for the last time, unfortunately with my in laws in tow. The light in the women's restroom had blown. When I reported it to the front desk she said it had been that way for 3 days and they were still waiting on the maintenance guy to come fix it! They were out of Coke, Dr Pepper and Sprite, but they didn't tell you that before you ordered and paid for a drink. They brought out our dine in order in to go bags. 3 of us ordered salads, but they were out of to go salad bowls so we received small salads in regular to go plates. I understand it's hard to find good employees these days so I try to never judge any place the first time, but when I've gone multiple times and had a bad experience I call it quits. read more

This is like any other Zaxby's. The french fries are never hot or crispy. The chicken was good, but also not just made as their signs say.

This is the worst Zaxbys I have ever been to. It's consistently awful. There is always a 10+ minute wait in the drive thru and most of the time you get to the window and they are out of something or still waiting on something to be cooked. I have had to call the manager multiple times as I've gotten home and my orders have been wrong. One time they forgot to put the chicken in my daughters kids meal. Today, we called in our order ahead of time only to be told they were completely out of French fries, fine, we still ordered and arrived to be told that our food would be ready in 20 minutes when we weren't told about any wait on the phone. I have continued to support this location because it's the only one around but I am done! If I could give less than one star for this location, I would. read more

Best chicken sandwich ANYWHERE!!! Forget about ordering salads or other things, just eat the darn sandwich. Zaxby's is in the same parking lot as the local Publix supermarket, so you'd expect them to be like another Popeye's or KFC. Wrong! I must admit, Zaxby's is freakin' awesome!! Definitely a good alternative to the burger fast food options in this area. The service at this particular Zaxby's is either hit or miss. They're teenagers and some obviously have parents who taught them how to smile and be polite, while others can't even make eye contact whilst shoving food and drinks out the drive through window. I drove on my lunch break to get a zaxby fried house salad, no fried onions, no tomatoes, extra cucumbers. I drove all the way back to work that cost me gas and time and I open up my salad to find pork (bacon) on my salad. I do not eat pork at all. I can't even pick it off and eat it. I drove bacK to zaxbys Remember I am on a lunch break and more gas. To ask them to remake the salad. The lady takes the salad and passes it back through the pass-through window. I stated out loud I do not want that salad nor do I want that chicken. I expressed my disgust of how that is cross contamination and gave her the example of she does not know what I did to that salad and she just passed it through to the cooks, and how did I not know if she was picking through and giving it back to me. She stated he threw it away and that's where it gets disposed of. I said how do I know that it should have been thrown away in front of me. They passed the second salad through the window and gave it to me it has eggs on it??? Why does a house salad have eggs on it? The cashier walks it around the corner to a cook she referred to as Conner she is speaking to. She comes back 1 minute later the same salad no eggs. Are you kidding me, I asked her where did the eggs go and she said I don't know, remind you she was standing with all the cooks around the corner discussing my salad? I was like ask the guy to come here because I want to know what he just did to the salad, it was obvious he picked off the eggs and gave her the salad back. I did not take my lunch break to deal with this. A young guy who was in the back comes around and ask the problem to tell the entire story again frustrated as hell at this time. HE THROWS THE SALAD AWAY UP FRONT LIKE CORRECT PROCEDURES ARE COMPLETED! you didn't just mess my original 1ST SALAD up YOU ALSO MESSED THE SECOND SALAD UP AND THEN PICKED THROUGH MY SALAD( THAT IS NASTY), YOUR STAFF ALSO SHOWED actions of cross-contamination AND LIED TO me about THE POLICY. I HAVE A BACK GROUND IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY. Then after another guy came and asked me what happened, and I explained myself again. I received the correct salad and an apology but I also was on break and was over my time frame for lunch which caused me to lose money. I was a little bothered that because the first or second attempt was not correct and the disrespect of picking and playing with food, being lied to and seeing how Zaxby's cross contaminates food Is ridiculous. I should have been compensated with something for the concern. A drink, a cookie, a side, a discount, a free something a refund, the two guys who spoke to me and didn't even tell me their names. For fast food, it is fine in a pinch. On one hand the chicken tenders were tasty and cooked well. I went to zaxbys for the first time ever today, so I obviously don't know what I want or whats on the menu and when I pulled up the girl taking the order was SO rude. I asked her to give me a second to look at the menu and she gave me such an attitude. I was looking for maybe a minute before she VERY rudely said, "do you need help with something" So I just went ahead and ordered the same thing my mom and brother told me to get them because I felt so rushed and uncomfortable. I got to the window and a different girl took my card (she was very sweet) and the rude girl that took the order basically threw a bag with all six boxes crushed down into it, into my truck without saying a word and slammed the window closed. I waited patiently because I never got a chance to ask for sauces or anything. I will never come to this zaxbys again and it's sad that you let your employees act like this. This Baker rd location is awful at making the Zensation Zalad! Today we drove thru and when I got home it was missing the cabbage salad. Drove back & 2nd time they didn't add the Asian dressing the time before they didn't even take time to secure the lids on the egg roll dipping sauce. Out of town travelers stopping for a quick bite to eat and gas. The dining area was completely in disarray to the point that my family and I decided to eat our meal outside. The service was notable for only rude and inattentive employees. There were no condiments, straws, or utensils available. The soda machine was out of all drinks with the exception of coke.
