I had the worst experience at Tommy Hilfiger Fairview Mall last night…read more I spent a half our picking out various pieces of clothing to try on, many with two sizes of the same article so I could choose one. When I went to try them on, the sales lady in the change room took all my clothing, put it all messed up in a bag, put it on the FLOOR of the store and proceeded to tell me I could only take six into the stall at a time, out of the bag on the floor! I couldn't believe it! I asked her why and she told me (I'm 52) that I may be a shoplifter and these were store rules. So she left the area and I took seven into the stall to compare. Well, she rushed back to the stall, asked me how many I had and I said seven. She started yelling, I asked her to leave me alone to try on the shirts. Then she called security and said she felt she was in danger, while I was still in the stall trying on shirts! I ended up buying seven shirts (only because of the time I had invested to pick them out) but I may have purchased as many as 15 had she been more polite. I WILL NEVER shop at Tommy Hilfiger Fairview Mall again. How rude and insensitive. Sincerely, Jeff Sharpe 647.891.2773

I'd like to share in here about my unpleasant experience at the Tommy Hilfiger store in Fairview…read moreMall, Toronto, Canada. When I went into the fitting room to try on some cloths, there's no employee in there so I didn't bother waiting for an assistance and went into one of the empty stalls. As I was trying on the clothes, someone knocked on my door and I said "someone's in here". Then I heard her saying out loud "These people are the worst! They should've got a tag!" I assumed this person is one of the employees because later on I heard her and a guy knocking on some more doors and asked if the customer needs help or not. I was like, wowww, how dare she say such thing esp. when there's customers in the fitting room. That was very annoying to hear and made me not want to buy from or visit Tommy's store anymore. I didn't say anything to the manager or cashier, but I'm pretty sure a customer who hears this kind of comment would talk to the manager. If I may suggest one thing, please always have at least one employe waiting in the fitting room so every customer who uses the room will get a door tag. And to the employee who made that comment, she should never work in retail.

When I was a kid I remember going to Fairview Mall. Back then you had Sears and Hudsons Bay as…read moreflagship stores. Now in 2025, both big box stores are no longer in business. Fairview Mall has gone through an evolution and reimagination of the retail space. I love how they redeveloped the space where Sears used to be. The space is now converted into a mini Chinatown spot with Saint Germain bakery, bubble tea shop, Hong Kong style cafe, Thai restaurant, and a T&T Supermarket. On the top floor there's a Marshalls / Homesense big box store. I noticed the Zara store has been renovated and now occupying 2 levels. The store looks immaculate and love the modern layout and self serve checkout kiosks to make shopping faster for DIY people. I managed to do some shopping at H&M and got some great deals in the sale section. I also bought some groceries like green beans, lychee, bbq pork buns, and curry beef pastries. It's not very often you can go to regional mall and be able to buy clothes, groceries, and bakery goods. It was a pleasant experience. I look forward to the transformation of the vacant Hudson Bay space. Oh did I mention they have a Playdium arcade in the old Sportchek space beside the Cineplex theatre.

It features an excellent mix of high-street brands like Apple, Zara, and Sephora, anchored by a sleek Hudson's Bay. What truly sets Fairview apart is its elevated dining scene; beyond the standard food court, the addition of T&T Supermarket and sit-down restaurants like Somtum Jinda makes it a culinary destination. With direct subway access and ample parking, it remains a convenient, top-tier choice for both fashion and food lovers.
