I feel the need to yelp about Zara in Belfast as it is the only branch in Northern Ireland and because its beautiful shiny glass doors just keep on drawing me in like a magnet. It's a huge three storey branch and I've been told that the top floor is for menswear but as my husband is more of a Gant kind of guy, I've never felt the need to go up to that altitude! For me the ground and first floors are a place of joy and shopping heaven.
Whatever the occasion, Zara comes up trumps - work, casual, Big Night Out, I always find something fab fab fab. I think the quality is amazing for the prices and given the speed with which the really fashion forward pieces hit the rails. Favourite buys this season have been a furry gilet and a sequinned party dress. But I really must mention the most fantastic purchase I have made - a sensational black silk one- shouldered dress for I kid you not, £6!! The Zara sale has to be seen to be believed. Most of the staff seem to be Spanish which is not that surprising given that Zara is a Spanish company and they are all friendly and helpful. Of course, their English is perfect, putting us lazy Belfasties to shame as usual! read more
