[2020 UPDATE] Zan has now helped us buy in 2017 and sell in 2020, and we couldn't be happier with how it went. Our house was listed and sold in a matter of days. Zan guided us through the entire process, helped at every step of the way and got us an offer above asking. If you're looking for someone who is an expert in every facet of the Los Angeles real estate market, Zan is your guy! [ORIGINAL REVIEW] We actually met Zan at an open house he was working. After attending 10-15 open houses previously, we were kind of numb to the typical spiels of the agents, but with Zan, we made an immediate connection. We were impressed that he sat and talked with us for over an hour about what we were looking for, the areas we were looking in, and a ton of other things, despite the fact that we were not interested in the actual house he was listing at that time. A week later, we met with him again at his office, for over two hours, where we went further in depth into exactly what we wanted. Throughout the process, Zan was knowledgeable, patient and helpful, and was available on phone/text/email pretty much whenever we needed him. He also had a lot of great contacts (contractors, painters etc) that we ended up working with once we actually purchased our new home. All in all, I can't recommend Zan enough. If you're looking for someone who knows West LA (he was born and raised in Santa Monica and lives in Mar Vista) and has the brains and the experience to negotiate against 4 other buyers and win you the house, Zan is definitely your guy! read more

I can't say enough great things about Zan. He is very good at what he does and I felt like he had my best interests in mind the whole way through the process of renting the house. He was always available to answer any of my questions, no matter how small, and was thorough with all of the important details. If you need a real estate agent, he should be at the top of your list 10 times out of 10; not even a question. A true definition of a professional. read more

Thank you Zan Sacker, if I can give you a review for 10 stars I would. I met him sometime around third week of March, obliged to meet, saw my property made some valuations and evaluations. Very personal like an old friend. He said he will do everything that he can to sell my property, no time frame, so up front. I trusted Zan to take care of everything, after less than 45 days he was able to sell my property with no headache whatsoever. All I did was sign documents, mailed it and the next thing I know it's closing time. What an incredible way to treat a client. Thank you for being such an Angel, May the good Lord bless you more. Will share this post on fb too. May you be able to help a lot more clients. God speed read more

Zan is a true professional in every regard. I am a sales manager at global B2B tech company, and having witnessed his abilities, I would hire him to be a corporate sales trainer. Zan is a great relater and digs deep to understand the motives of all parties. He also has an amazing set of resources to set position and market your property. Having reviewed the price per square foot after our sale, I can confidently tell you that Zan managed to deliver a 10%+ premium. Regardless of whether you are buying or selling, I couldn't recommend anyone other than Zan. read more

My husband and I just closed on our first home a week ago with the help of ZAN! He is amazing and helped us every step of the way. Not only did he refer us to a great lender, but with his advice, we are the ones with the keys (even out of the TEN other offers)! We could not be happier with the process and entire experience. I have known Zan for 20 years and was confident he would guide my husband and I through the house buying process with grace and ease. We were looking for over a year with no luck and finally in November 2017 our offer was accepted in spite of having 3 other offers higher then ours. Zan was on top of everything i.e inspection, plumbing, roofers, termite company you name it, he connected us with great people! Zan is the only agent we will use if we decide to sell and look for another house! He's extremely trust worthy, compassionate and hard working. read more

Zan has been not only highly resourceful but extremely patient in my first-time home-buying experience. He has really helped me identify and work within my comfort zone, showing me only properties that he knows I will be able to afford--comfortably. It's a tough market out here for someone in my price bracket but Zan has made me feel through this process like my homecoming is always just around the corner. Couldn't recommend him more! read more

All I can say is... Zan is AMAZING!!! I was a nervous first time buyer as a single mom & buying a house with an FHA loan. Zan literally helped me beat out 11 other offers!! I know he went to battle for me and helped me buy my first home. He made a very scary, huge life event, an easy process. I can not say enough about this guy...!! I HIGHLY recommend you go with Zan as your realtor!! He's also a sucker for good Cuban food, so you can always butter him up by taking him to Versailles!! :) read more

There needs to be an option for 10 stars as Zan certainly deserves them. Zan helped me purchase my first home and I will be buying all future homes through him as well. I was told by people "buying a home is one of the most stressful things you will ever do". Well that is someone else's unfortunate reality. Buying a home with Zan was one of the easiest major transactions I have ever been involved with. Completely recommend that you work with Zan any other choice would leave you spinning your wheels. read more

The Sacker/Lovell team are A M A Z I N G! Keller Williams,Santa Monica put our house on the market on October 30th and an offer was presented 4 days later along with a back up offer 6 days later. Escrow closed 16 days later and the process was as smooth as can be. If you want an honest, agressive broker, ZAN IS YOUR MAN! I would recommend this team to anyone in the Los Angeles area that is needing a fabulous real estate broker. Thank you for all that you both have done for us! Sam and Susan B read more

Zan helped me to buy my first house, and then to sell it 2 years later. He did a truly outstanding job on both transactions. Being in sales myself, I have high standards when it comes to negotiating great deals, and Zan exceeded my expectations! Not only did he help me buy and sell, but he has always been available for any kind of quick market questions, or to recommend someone to help with services and renos. He is readily available by phone and very communicative if there was ever any reason he wasn't going to be around. I'm sure he has a ton of clients, but he manages to make you feel like you're the most important one! Zan has seen me at my most insane going through the buying and selling process, but he manages to be patient and supportive. He is smart, informed, and just a cool guy to be around, all of which make home buying and selling with Zan a pleasure. read more

Zan Sacker is the only way to go. He helped us at a time in our lives that we could have easily be taken advantage of. Zan, looked at our house, told us what he felt would make the house better and therefore the sale better. We took care of it and he sold the house at the first open house. He sold the house for more than the asking price and he had our back the whole way. He walked us through the escrow process and stayed on top of everything until we had our money in the bank. Zan in professional and yet warm and you feel like he is part of the family. He is part of our family now and we appreciate his staunch support. read more

As a first time home buyer I was nervous to put it mildly. Certainly the biggest purchase of my life had my mind in a tail spin. My main concern was finding an agent whom I could trust and guide me in the right direction through the process. I truly feel like I hit the jackpot by hiring Zan Sacker and his team to help me purchase my first home. To start, Zan was extremely professional, knowledgeable, organized and, most importantly, honest. Never, at any point, did I feel pressured into making a decision that I wasn't comfortable with. Every step of my home buying purchase was carefully and clearly explained and Zan never hesitated to advise me of a bad deal........or even just an ok deal. Anything less than a great deal simply wasn't acceptable. Zan literally took care of everything for me and made this entire process seamless for all parties involved. There is no doubt I will be using Zan and his team again in the future and, without question, recommend him to anyone. read more

I am a fairly experienced buyer and seller. I have been involved in 32 real estate transactions in 18 years. 4 of those transactions have been with Zan Sacker. Out of all of my transactions, those 4 were the highlights of my homeowner real estate career. Zan is the single most knowledgeable, responsive, and able Realtor I have had the pleasure of doing business with. Unlike the vast majority of Realtors who forget about you once an offer has been accepted, Zan remains in touch with his clients at the hours you are available 7 days a week until long after the close and you are moved in and settled. More importantly, he fights for every dollar in the transaction as if he were buying or selling his own property. All too many Realtors count their commission as soon as a successful offer has been placed, then delegate their Realtor duties to their "assistants". Other Realtors know a few thousand here or there on the final contract doesn't make a difference to them because they only see 3% of every thousand (in other words thirty bucks for every thousand). Why would a Realtor care to work so hard for so little? Most don't. But Zan doesn't conduct business like that. Believe it or not, he wants to make sure you don't pay or accept a dollar less than what benefits your position in the transaction. The manner in which Zan conducts business creates long term clientele, not just a one-time commission for him. And that is why as long as I remain in CA, Zan Saker will be representing each property acquisition or sale I am involved in. I personally recommend Zan if you wish to have a thoroughly successful buying or selling experience in Santa Monica or any of the surrounding communities. -Peter Hamilton, Santa Monica, CA resident read more
