Timmaris made this easy. She is friendly and welcoming and nonjudgmental. I had no embarrassment singing in front of her. She quickly identify that I do have a good singing voice and identified my range and with her exercises and continued practice I was singing songs. In my case, I have a good ear, and I could tell when I was on pitch and learning to sing on pitch and stay on pitch was probably the most useful skill. As such, I was able to sing happy birthday - a cappella and on pitch - for the first time in my life and it was wonderful. My daughter's piano teacher is great. This company however has been a nightmare experience. They charge weeks in advance for the following month, they text, call and email asking the same questions about how many lessons my daughter is taking, has taken, her schedule. But trying to get a response from them was impossible. The first was an email I sent they took a full YEAR and two weeks to reply to. I've asked countless times for a copy of the contract policies, payments etc. I have still never received it. I checked online and cannot find the current address. All emails are bouncing back to me as server rejected. No replies to texts. Their charges have gone up and up with no explanation, charging random dates, sometimes multiple times per month all with zero communication. I emailed to cancel and got a bounce back. Texted, no response. Called, no answer. We had to go to the bank to get charges disputed and payments stopped. I checked and the license number listed on their website isn't actually a business license number. I checked out the Secretary of State and their business license is currently suspended and has been since 2002, shortly after establishment. I will also notify the Dept of Consumer Affairs and BBB. Please BEWARE before you decide on going with this company and definitely before giving them your banking information.

Your instructor, Olga, publicly criticized my child in front of other parents and children. My child is neurodivergent. At times, he may have difficulty following directions, transitioning, or completing more complex instructions. That does not give any instructor the right to shame, embarrass, or publicly criticize a child. What is especially unacceptable is that your staff was already aware of my child's needs. Instead of speaking with me privately, giving me a warning, or trying to understand what support he might need, Olga chose to criticize him in front of others. When I brought this concern to you, I expected the owner to at least investigate what happened and listen to both sides. Instead, you immediately defended your instructor and treated my child as if he were simply the problem. You did not appear interested in understanding what actually happened or in finding a constructive solution. Instead, you joined in criticizing my child. Then, rather than addressing my concern about how your instructor handled the situation, you suspended my child's classes for an entire month. Children--especially neurodivergent children--deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. If a child is struggling to follow instructions, the appropriate response is to communicate privately with the parent and work toward a solution, not publicly embarrass the child and then blame him when the parent raises concerns. Parents should know how situations like this may be handled here before deciding whether this is the right environment for their child.
