After suffering from chronic hip and back pain following a car accident, my lawyer recommended that I see Dr. Arroyo--and I'm so grateful they did. From the very first visit, his approach was incredibly gentle, thoughtful, and effective. I felt immediate relief and a real sense of being brought back into alignment, both physically and energetically. I continued treatment with him for some time and always felt I was in the best hands. Years later--nearly a decade, in fact--our paths crossed again by pure coincidence. After recently moving back to San Francisco, I took a spin class and quickly realized I needed chiropractic care. I reached out to a few places, and when Dr. Arroyo personally called me back, I instantly recognized his warm, welcoming voice. It felt like a full-circle moment, and I knew it was meant to be. I've now been seeing Dr. Arroyo again for just under a year, and I couldn't be happier to be back under his care. Truly, just seeing him brightens my day--the adjustment is simply the bonus. What sets Dr. Arroyo apart is his attentiveness and genuine care. He listens deeply, treats you as a whole person, and brings a level of presence that is rare to find. His bedside manner is exceptional, and it's clear he truly loves what he does. His knowledge of the human body is profound, and his skill is unmatched. I am deeply grateful for his expertise and the care he continues to provide. If you're looking for someone who is not only highly skilled but also deeply compassionate, Dr. Arroyo is truly one of a kind.

Dr. Kerner had me feeling dramatically better after just one treatment, and the next two visits improved my condition even more to the point it vanished entirely. If I have trouble again, I know exactly who to see. His affable, warm and comfortable manner put me right at ease, and I felt well-cared for as he not only provided treatment, but also the right amount of educational explanation of the various methods he employed and their effectiveness in real time (as well as the occasional Dad joke, which I am a huge fan of). Dr. Kerner is a gem, and the only Chiropractor I'll see if I need such services again. Do yourself a favor and visit him -- don't put off feeling better like I did!

As an active person who loves the gym and weekly bike rides, I was devastated when I had to stop everything. The pain was so intense I couldn't sit at my desk for more than two hours, making work nearly impossible. Rabonni was a game-changer. He took the time to dig into the root causes, explaining how years of sitting at a computer had taken a toll on my body. Through multiple weekly sessions and targeted exercises I could do at home, the pain gradually subsided. After four months, I regained my flexibility and returned to my active lifestyle. Dr John is very observant and a good listener as well as having big warm healing hands. I appreciate his holistic attitude; he is helping me contemplate different levels of my physical, emotional, and spiritual well being and how to integrate them better. I have learned for the first time in 12 years how to self-relieve my chronic middle back pain with exercise, breathing, and relaxation. My job as a photographer requires me to carry heavy equpment often for many hours at a time, and Dr John is helping me learn how to strengthen my body for my work and of course he gets me back aligned after bending myself all out of shape! Everyone I interacted with in the Waterfront office was friendly and upbeat including the front desk staff Jennie and some other providers I didn't get to work with. Supreet Shah DC is so awesome, he even gave me a pair of massage balls! :D I'll definitely stop by to say hi one of these days. I was on strong pain medication just to function, and I had given up on the idea of getting better. Heather explained early on that they don't just treat the part that hurts. Not always the type of characters you want to spend much time with. I met Dr. Cohen about 7-8 years ago from a referral because I didn't want the traditional 'crack' treatment; and he was one of the few in the area that offered other treatments such as the Activator, Graston, etc.. Dr. Cohen is an extremely down to earth person that I immediately felt comfortable with. He doesn't do a cookie cutter treatment plan, he listens, he understands, asks the right questions, then after explaining to me what he thinks is happening to me, will start the adjustments with techniques I'm comfortable with. At this point, he has full reign, I trust him with whatever technique he thinks is best. Once he solves the issue (and often times more!) that brought me to him, I may not see him for another couple years. Recently, I experienced severe tendonitis for 6+ months, no help from Kaiser...I then caught one of Proactive's newsletters and Dr. Cohen talked about a new device he was recently working with at The Olympic Training Center. It' called Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT). I hadn't seen Dr. Cohen in couple years so I reached out to him and explained my tendonitis situation. I started the treatments and I immediately felt the change the next day. Things went up and down for several weeks, but it was clear that change was happening. After a couple months of treatments, I'm feeling fantastic! Being in my mid 40's and not able to pickup an empty glass or plate was devastating to me. Dr. Cohen has been instrumental in increasing my quality of life over the years and especially with the recent Shockwave Therapy - life changing. Book an appointment.
