What a find! Za Zaa just happened to be right near out hotel. Otherwise, we would not have stumbled upon this gem.
We we're lucky to get a table without reservations. The place was packed! Reservations highly recommended! The service was wonderful, ambiance was great and the food just scrumptious. It was probably one of the best meals I had on our European trip along the Rhine.
We ordered the baba ganoush as an appetizer and some kebabs as our main entrees (I'm sorry, I don't remember the exact names of our entrees). But, what I do remember everything was delicious! Seriously, one of the tastiest Middle Eastern establishments I've eaten at.
The other thing, I liked was that we didn't have to buy a bottle of sparking or still water. The restaurant offered the option of bottled tap water for a $3 donation, which went towards countries struggling with water issues. Humanitarian service along with a great meal! read more
