Excellent quality work! Our broken ceramic chandelier was restored beautifully. Thank you.

She did a wonderful job in fixing my JND studios 1/3 Joker... It looks very professional and precise.. Thank you.

I damaged an ivory heirloom and was so thankful for Jane's skills for putting it back together again. I would've done it myself for free with super glue, but the result would've looked like Humpty Dumpty and I didn't want to risk it on a decades-old heirloom. I called the number listed and was asked to text a photo of the damaged item -- several pieces broke off. Jane said she can put it back together and gave an estimate of $150-$200 but to come in person for an accurate estimate. I came in right away and we settled on $200 for now pending on any additional adjustments I'd like, including an extra $110 to make the cracks look "invisible." A few days later, she texted asking that a few very small pieces were missing, so I did a sweep and found those pieces on my floor. After handing those pieces to her, it took another 1.5 weeks, which was fine since I was in no rush. I just wanted quality work no matter the amount of time. But I asked her to ensure the cracks were not visible, so the total was $310. The last 2 photos are what she sent me to show progress. She accepts Venmo and Zelle, and all in all, she provided a seamless job and was reliable. When picking up the item, we commented that we at least now know who to go to when things break, and she said "yes, and let's try not to break them in the first place." She's a nice lady with great skills. read more

My beloved quan yin statue was broken. It took me 3 years to find someone i trusted to restore her arm. Za Restoration did so much more than I'd expected. The arm is fixed and seamless. She is beautiful. The process was easy and completed on time as promised at a fair price and I couldn't be happier read more

ZA did an amazing job repairing my friend's antique Japanese nabe pot lid. It looks nearly as good as new, and she even filled in the white parts left behind from where it cracked for free. The cost was quite reasonable as well, and she was always easy to get in touch with. read more

Zhanna received our 1940s-era porcelain English bull terrier with a broken tail. In our favor was that it was a clean break -- however, it was in a straight section that would be VERY visible when repaired, so I was concerned. But Zhanna worked her magic and gave us a perfect repair for an extremely reasonable price. She was professional and kind throughout the process, and does truly impressive work. We will *absolutely* return to her shop in Brisbane if we're ever unfortunate enough to need her services again. read more

Very helpful in helping me figure out how to repair broken pottery. Quick response and very reasonable prices

Had two porcelain items that were broken. Repaired them beautifully. Would return again and would recommend.

Jane did a phenomenal job restoring my original acrylic painting that had water damage. I was concerned about the length of time it took, but after doing some research, I realized that it was an intricate, detailed process and could take up to six months so I was thankful I received it back in four months and even more impressed when I saw the results. This painting has sentimental value and I am beyond ecstatic about the phenomenal job that Jane did to restore it. read more

My mom received a broken Tang Sanzang (Journey to the West) figurine and held on to the set for 30+ years!! Because of the broken and missing leg, she hid it in a cabinet behind other figurines. Knowing how much the set meant to my mom I suggested to have it fixed so she could proudly display it. I found Janna on Yelp and given her many before/after pictures, I felt Janna had the expertise to restore my mom's figurine. All I can say is WOW. Janna did an AMAZING job. My family and friends seeing the before and after pictures were all amazed at the quality of her work. Janna cleaned and took a mold of the the right front leg to make the missing left leg and fixed the ear. She did an amazing job matching the color, matte and glaze. I can't tell you how happy my mom is. I highly recommend Janna for your restoration project. read more

My best friend is a serious collector of many breakable things. Her house is basically a museum. I, however, am a klutz. You can tell that this ends poorly right? I was so impressed with the repair of a delicate sword on a statue. It doesn't even look as though it has been repaired. I think I'll be keeping Jane in business for a while as I have another statue part to take in with a broken wing :( read more

JANE IS A TRUE MASTER AT HER CRAFT!! I broke a ceramic spoon and tried to repair it with some glue which didn't work well. I took it to Jane and she repaired it as though it was new. I was so thankful to have found her. If you ever need a ceramic/porcelain repair, look no further! Pictures of before with cracks and after her repair posted. read more

ZA Restoration is amazing. A beautiful Kwan Yin statue I bought came through the mail with the head busted off with loose chips. It was carved out from the horn of a rhinoceros or the bone of hippopotamus, so I thought there was no way I could glue the head back on without the break being noticeable. I found Jane through the great reviews on Yelp and brought the statue to her new location in Brisbane. She did an amazing job. The statue looks beautiful! She even delivered the statue to my house! I give her my highest recommendation! read more

So grateful I found ZA Restoration! I brought in a collector doll with plastic pieces that had broken off and been super glued badly back on. I came to ZA Restoration with a low spirit. I was worried it had been permanently damaged. But she was able to remove the super glue and re-glue the doll back together looking like new! She is a true artist with fine attention to detail. I would trust her with any project. read more

ZA fixed a number of ceramic pieces that had been improperly shipped and broke in transit. She ensured that the damage was completely invisible, even on close inspection of fine details in the spots that had broken. She was very responsive and her prices were very reasonable. Strongly recommended if you have damaged artwork and need a skilled professional. read more

I have used Za restoration to restore a ceramic figurine and two small plates. Excellent work! Extremely pleased!

Janna is absolutely amazing. I brought two pieces to her: one, the lid to a handmade urn from the 70's that belongs to my parents - their housekeeper broke it while dusting. The other - an afterthought - was a porcelain plate that my grandma gave me back in the 60's... It was broken and atrociously repaired in the 80's. Take a look at the photos - there's really nothing more to say, except that beside being a true artist, she is a lovely, warm human being. She did this magic in the space of less than a month. read more

Jane did an expert job repair a porcelain vase that my great grandma had painted over 100 years ago. It was broken when my aunt shipped it to me via USPS. ZA Restoration is by far the very best restoration service I have ever found! The work that they do is beyond amazing. I was told the very first piece I took in that when I got it back it would look just like new and that is how it looked when I got it back, it near left me in tears, the quality of the work is marvelous and "museum quality" repair work is astounding, If you ever need something repaired you'll never find a better restoration provider then ZA Restoration. read more

If I could give Jane a gazillion stars - I would give 'em to her. I just returned from Za to pick up the repaired antique porcelain plate that had been broken - and I can not detect a single sign that it was ever broken. The breaks in the porcelain were not clean breaks - - but you would never know. It's as if Jane rolled back time and the heart breaking crash to the floor never happened. This is museum quality restoration work. Added bonus: easy to park - -and to find her workshop. And she is so nice. I highly recommend Za Restoration and Jane and would use her again for any future repair work. Bravo! read more

I reached out to ZA Restoration to get a quote to repair a resin statue that was broken in several places. It wasn't an art piece, but valuable to me and something I was eager to have fixed if I could. The owner was helpful from the start and answered my questions right away. I wasn't sure if I wanted to invest the $ to have it fixed (like I said, it wasn't a valuable piece), but I was so happy I did. I brought the item in to have it repaired and although it was (poorly) glued in several places and would take more time to unglue and repair, the owner agreed to take on the work at the original quoted price. She called me a week or two after I dropped it off to tell me it was fixed and I was amazed at the result. There was no sign that the item had been broken - which was more than I had hoped for and beyond the work we agreed to. It was beautiful. I would 100% recommend her for repairs! read more

I found Jane through a random Yelp search to fix a beautiful designer vase which was a wedding gift from my friend who sent it all the way from Hong Kong to San Francisco as a surprise. I didn't tell the friend that it was broken into pieces when I opened the package. I took the pieces to Jane's studio, and Jane asked me "There are two options, one is to glue them back, while the other is to make the cracks invisible. The second one costs more." I told myself "What?! She can make the cracks invisible!" and then told her "Yes yes please make them invisible." I went to her studio on Saturday to pick up the vase and she was not 100% satisfied with her work due to the complexity of the original vase structure and the material of the glue. I was, on the contrary, totally blown away by her flawless technique. I didn't see any cracks as if the vase was never broken. Totally worth the money and the wait. With a great relief, I could finally told my friend about the story lol. Again, a huge shoutout to Jane who did an amazing job! * pictures: the broken pieces, the picture of the original vase I found online, and the restored vase (how impressive!) read more

China, Hummels, Vases, anything of value....Flawlessly Repaired Collectables. It is a rather a surreal experience as you go down Pier 33, pass all of the fish mongers, you come to a non-discript door on the right side. Ring the bell and you are ushered in a small dingy office. You'll ask yourself..."What have I gotten myself into..??" But believe me...You'll be pleased. Jane, or as I call, "The Russians" will politely and professionally talk with you about the broken item. I have taken them several things in the, items worth more than $5,000 or a vase of someones great grandmother.....Each time.... Incredible!! You could NOT see the repairs. It can take some time to get it right (3 ro 4 weeks)...but I feel they are reasonable in price and extremely friendly to work with..... AAA+++ read more

I am no expert but this must be "museum quality" repair work. No sign at all that it was ever broken. Accurate estimate, reasonable turnaround, low price for this level of expertise. I found Janna by a very long route of calling local art supply stores for recommendation of small sculpture restoration artist. Three stores down I was on the phone with Richmond Ceramic Supply and low and behold they gave me a SF number (especially good since I do not have a car). I went out to Janna's working studio on Irving with two small sculptures to restore. One - a 1930's ballerina figurine from my great grandmother. It was missing one hand when passed down to me and then fell off the shelf (for no reason!) breaking both of the ballerina's legs diagonally in half. I do ballet so my state of being was ruined. I needed a restoration artist. My second sculpture was a small bust of Sherlock Holmes that unfortunately got damaged by the cleaning company. I now use Museum Wax on both (and highly recommend). Janna did an absolutely amazing job. She actually re-created the hand that my ballerina was missing originally. Janna attached both broken legs and reinforced them with a rod on the inside. She repaired Sherlock as well. It was not cheap, but not too pricey for items of sentimental value. read more

Jane did an amazing repair on our broken ceramic. Highly recommend her skills and service. Very friendly and professional.

Zhanna's repairs are simply amazing. I've had two ceramic pieces repaired by her. One was shattered into more than 100 pieces and some dust. She repaired it so flawlessly, including patching that you can't even tell it was ever broken. The second piece was an artistic mask, and some pieces were lost. Zhanna recreated and repainted everything. As with the other piece, you cannot tell it was ever broken. Her prices are extremely fair, especially considering the quality of her work. If you have a piece you want restored, this is the person to do it. read more

Excellent work! I took in a piece of Pueblo pottery I inherited from my father that has significant sentimental value to me. I recently moved, and it got chipped in the move. It was not significantly damaged but enough that I wanted it repaired. I took it in and picked it up a week later. The repair was so good, I had a hard time finding where it had been chipped. The cost was reasonable, and I was more than pleased with the work. I'd highly recommend! read more
