One of the greatest things that the Holiday Season is to give to those that don't have much for 91x was collecting socks and underwear they had collected so many at the holiday celebration as the hosts for the New Year's Party at the Hilton Hotel Seaport Village. 91x is one of the best radio stations here in San Diego from the great holiday welcome they welcomed the many people I could see that were coming up to the tent. The hiday season brings out so much in people with the use of music and great radio stations makes the holidays even Brighter. 91x is one that brings the energy to any event the group that is from 91x made the great appearance from the many events they host for the radio station has the great music and the many great people they had at the Balboa Holiday Nights are the best. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer the many groups that I have seen to the many that have done so many great projects for a radio station to do such a great service project during Christmas is a great blessing to those in need . I have been a fan of the XX1090 AM Sports Radio show for a number of years now. Even though they…read morereleased Scott & B.R. recently it is still a good Sports Radio show through out the day. I believe Dave & Jeff have some big shoes to fill with the absents of Billy Ray and Scott Kaplan. I was a big fan of their show and it was my favorite as well. I still listen to the morning show and the afternoon show, but it does not seem the same. I am still a fan though, because I think the whole station as a whole, does a great job covering local and national sports.

Scott "I'll shill anything for a buck" Kaplan and Billy Ray Smith - With all the advertisement and commercials they sabotage any momentum they build with the audience.. Just when they get into a riveting discussion, oops...time for a ten minute break.. Enough with the shameless corporate plugs too. Just talk sports and quit trying to sell us stuff. Hal " A Communications degree is toilet paper" Brown - Jordan and Earl proves that all decision making responsibility should be removed from his job description. Darren Smith - The guy has valid and thought provoking sports commentary. Unfortunately without Philly Billy to butt in, he goes on and on about the same topic. Stop talking in circles! I like what you're saying, just not enough to hear the same thing three times a segment. Martha Caswell. A true survivor. Survived the humiliation and degradation of working the early morning shift with Scott Kaplan several years ago. Typical 5am on-air banter "Scott: Hey Marty, you left your headlights on", "Hey Marty, TAKE OFF YOUR TOP".. The best part about Marty is that she thinks Kevin Acee is a total douchbag which is okay by me. Hacksaw - Local (Award winning) Legend and the only reason I still listen to the station. The Coach - "Too soon" to write anything negative. I do like listening to his Padres post game show when the Padres lose. He pulls no punches.

Program Director Capone said as much: ""91X is an institution in SAN DIEGO, approaching 30 years of broadcasting live & local programming. The passion and talent of all those that have worked here throughout the years is what keeps us going. Despite recent accusations to the contrary, the 91X culture is strong and storied. It is an honor to have these personalities on the air, back at home where they belong at 91X...and what better weekend than this one!" More than likely, Capone was referring to charges made by a previous employee that the station-and by extension, it's management was disengaged from the true local music scene. I must hand it to Capone that he took that dis and turned it way around by gathering up a bunch of (for the most part) beloved former on-air employees and let them rule the roost for a weekend of playing tunes from the glory days of the 80's and 90's. It was a kick hearing a bunch of voices from the past. Now that Robin Roth is back on board, the nostalgia factor has already been kicked up a notch. The addition of Katie Manor, Mad Max and Billy Bones, among others-even but for just a weekend- brought back sweet memories. Even better for me was checking out some tunes I haven't heard in a while-in other words-obscure resurrection songs. To me, the more heavily un-played, the better the resurrection.. Oz made a big deal about playing Love & Rocket's little-heard song "Yin and Yang the Flower Pot Man-"something he originally heard Mad Max playing Friday. I dig that song too-it is as trippy as "Kundalini Express-" another seldom-played Love & Rockets tune. That's the real beauty of a self-congratulatory love fest as this past weekend-unearthing a bona fide resurrection gem as the Love & Rockets Yin Yang song and presenting it to the world. Not for me is sitting around reminiscing about the past. I just keep marching forward, as has 91X. Capone should do stuff like this more often--just to keep the weekends fresh and the music selection-inspired. That is the best way to maintain local relevancy in an ever-changing world.

I grew up in Carlsbad in the 70s & used to go to Ralph & Eddies and Rene & Jack and the gang were all hanging out. It was SO RAD! Then they cut an album with BigBeat Productions. Loved Rad about You!& all their other songs too. Wish I still had that album. I also worked for 91X in 84 spinning records for Party Sounds.Spun records all over SD. Thanks for bringing back all those memories on Sundays! Keep it up man.

I recently had my truck wrapped by your company. While the wrap itself appears to have come out…read morewell, I am extremely concerned and disappointed with the damage that occurred during the process none of which was communicated to me at the time of pickup. After getting home, I discovered that holes had been burned into the fabrication screens on the hood of my truck. This was never disclosed to me. In addition, my rear door is now unable to close properly, and my security locks installed specifically for security are no longer aligned and appear to have been stripped. This has left me unable to secure or repair the issue myself. I initially noticed a problem while driving on the freeway when a warning light indicated that my rear door was not properly closed. This issue was not present prior to your work. I have made multiple attempts to contact your company via phone calls, text messages, and by sending photos of the damage, but I have yet to receive any response. At this point, while the wrap itself looks decent, I am very dissatisfied with the overall experience and the condition in which my vehicle was returned to me. I am requesting immediate communication to address and resolve these issues. If this matter is not addressed promptly, I will be forced to explore other options to resolve the damages. I look forward to your response.
