I found Dr. Bo and she told me it would take a certain number of sessions to bring down the inflammation and improve circulation in the foot and ankle area. The difference, at least for me, is that she is working with my body rather than against it. A lot of what we do involves working on an area and thinking about when I may have started holding that particular pattern, then consciously releasing it. Somehow, releasing it in my mind seems to correlate with releasing it in my body. When I walk out, I feel lighter, freer, and more aligned--and the changes last. I don't revert back a day or two later. Being able to improve my posture, release a tight hip, or eliminate hamstring pain is the best feeling in the world. I highly recommend giving Gail a try.
