Wonderful place! Their delicious soup & tasty rolls, delicious baked goods, especially their amazing iced cappuccino is helping us get thru the summer. George does a great job running the place & the staff are always pleasant. It's a friendly place & certainly very popular! To George & Staff, Keep up the great work! "the twins" read more

Yura at Coleman's just didn't impress me. The floors were dirty and their menu is limited in my opinion. I'm familiar with the scones and pastries. I just wanted something inexpensive and quick to eat. I sat down at a dirty table to eat my scone. Three stars for the nice girl at check out and the huge delicious Chocolate Chip Scone. Doubt I'll be returning anytime soon. read more

Quality is good. Quantity is not. Tuna sandwich was more skimpy than I have ever seen, anywhere.

Is this place pricey? Yes it is. Are the pastries here delicious? Yes they are. Nice little nook of a spot for coffees, pantries, deli and breakfast sandwiches. Freshly made and pre-packaged goods. Try their homemade blueberry crumb coffee cake. It's good! read more

Horrible place. Have gotten food poisoning multiple times from this place, NEVER AGAIN!!! Avoid at all costs, so many other delis to go to in the area. This place should get shut down read more

We live in the neighborhood. Some of Yura's food is very good. However, if the opening hours are until 4:00pm we expect to be able to get any item on the menu until 4pm. Instead, the kitchen closes at 3:30PM!! If that's the case, and the workers need to clean the kitchen, then post the opening hours until 3:30pm. The hours are misleading, and it is disappointing! read more

The tuna sandwich had barely enough tuna on it to cover the bread, they forgot to put on the raw onions I requested. It's gone down hill. Very skimpy sandwich. Total rip off. Won't be returning read more

The food is good, but it's an absolute ripoff, even for NYC. They take full advantage of being the only place on East End Avenue. If you want cheaper, go to Moduwa on York and 84th. read more

The orange juice is fresh pressed and delicious and only $3 so a great bargain! Other items can either be kinda pricey or decently priced. Quality of everything is outstanding though. They obviously benefit from being the only corner store/cafe on all of East End. read more

The food is expensive but good. My problem is they don't support the neighborhood by keeping better hours especially weekends. They charge a lot and take from us but don't give back to the neighborhood by being open proper hours and contribute to the area read more

Great for breakfast and lunch Only 2 person allowed in at the time But the wait is well worth The manager very caring, he will remember what your whole family Likes.A treasure for this neighborhood read more

I would like to think that my star rating is only for quality of food and that is all. #1-Wait Time: My wife asked me to get her food while she was 3 months pregnant. While what I ordered does not take long to make, I nearly missed my child's birth 6 months later- all over a bagel. #2- Price: For $5 you will receive 10 oz of mediocre soup at room temperature. While I was waiting 13 minutes for them to scoop my soup, my taste buds began to crave grilled. But upon looking at the prices, @$11 for half a pound, I would have rather bought a whole chicken, roasted it and ate it over the course of 2 days- all the while waiting for them to microwave an "11 dollar slab of chicken breast" #3- Clientele- Very up scale, snobby people. Wish they would give me money rather than spend $9 for 1/2 of kale salad. That is all I have to say. Not for me, extremely overpriced- but at-least someone is taking advantage of the 1% in the neighborhood. read more

Quintessential local shop. The owner and everyone who works there is so friendly. So much attention to detail is paid to everything from how neatly the shelves are stocked to how perfectly the sandwiches are made and wrapped. Reviews saying it's expensive confuse me--compared to a bodega? Maybe, but the quality is incomparable. Ingredients are fresh and care is put into every order. Also has some outdoor seating, a full coffee/espresso menu, daily specials and is the perfect spot to grab a snack for a walk in Carl Schurz. Truly a neighborhood gem!! read more

I had known that Coleman's had been closed for a while, so when my wife told me that they had reopened, I was interested. When she told me that it renamed "Yura at Coleman's", I was GONE. Yes, the Yura from Yura on Madison, has an outpost on East End Avenue, and the Colemans have left. The legendary roast beef sandwich with frizzled onions is there. Less one, which is currently in my BELLY. There's a coffee and espresso counter, some salads and prepared foods, pre-made sandwiches, and deli meat. I feel like the drink case could use work, but that's probably because I need like 500 drink options, when most people need like, five. In the end, it looks like a nice deli, now I have somewhere to go for foodstuffs when I sojourn to Carl Schurz Park. read more

The only thing better than the food at this adorable little place is the staff. It's as though everyone who works here always wakes up on the right side of the bed. Really nice people, really good food. Lots of interesting options. Every time I've been here I've tried something new and always really enjoyed it. The samples are a nice bonus too. read more

We were staying at my family's across the street, so I had to run over when we felt like breakfast sandwiches & were too lazy to cook. Ended up going back almost every morning. The bagel sandwiches were great, the eggs were perfectly done, and even the roll they use was good - often the rolls on breakfast sandwiches are tasteless or fall apart (or some use a kaiser), but these were like brioche! Anyway, the prices seemed reasonable for the UES. And the staff were all really friendly & brought your stuff to the front if you didn't want to wait in the crowded counter area. read more

I think this place is great. The guy who works behind the counter is super friendly and remembers your orders. Their food is great and I'm pretty sure it's homemade. It can get a little pricey when things are weighed, but I find the prices to be totally fine. I'm so glad I found this place! I go there as often as possible. read more

Love this place! I come here almost every weekend for their amazingly delicious breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and strong coffee. Everything is fresh and tasty, and the staff are extremely pleasant. I only wish they were open later on the weekends! read more

This place is highly expensive and they charged me over $11 for a sandwich with avocado. Spanish guy is rude and disgusting. Don't come here ! read more

Good food. However, extremely over priced and expensive. When ordering something from behind the counter, it takes a while to make. Small portions for large prices. Do not like their coffee, and they are limited to what kinds of coffee they make. read more

Pro: Very nice food, handy local neighborhood storeroom have. Cons: food orders are criminally slow and when it is ready, they just leave it at the counter expecting u to come get it or know when it's done. You have paid and sitting waiting yet your food has been getting cold for the past 5 mins. Should take your name and call like other delis in Manhattan. read more

Great neighborhood spot on East End. Five stars for the breakfast sandwiches. Fresh, quality ingredients and friendly services - highly recommended! read more

I've lived around the corner from this place for a while and always walked by as walking my dogs. Today I stopped in and it was just a great clean, basic deli. 100x cleaner than your corner bodega. I got their version of a hero and it was the best sandwich I've had in quite a long time. Service was friendly, the price was...Nyc....and I will be returning often I can't believe I never came sooner! read more

Everything is excellent-prepared food, sandwiches to soup. Everyone who lives in this neighbourhood goes there repeatedly.

Nasty service at cash register today, a case of different strokes for different folks the woman was surly when I asked a question and started helping the customer behind be without giving me my receipt. I had to request it 3 times, she then ripped it off the machine and shoved at me without a word of thanks. Tyra needs to be careful as to who they put at cash registers. I'm not going to go back to this place again. read more

Extremely over priced food. I ordered the fresh roasted turkey, they gave me smoked turkey. Asked for oil and vinegar, there was none to be found. The sandwich was very small and light and cost $10.54. Unbelievable. I would never return. read more

Best little breakfast/deli place. Seriously the best egg and cheese sandwiches around, with delicious baked goods, and above average coffee. Great sandwiches generally. Downside - not the cheapest, and portions generally not the largest. But makes up for it in quality and has nice neighborhood feel. I get breakfast here every weekend. read more
