I called my plastic surgeon (in California) at which time he confirmed the most amount of Botox he has ever injected was 40 units and that was being overly generous. You guys supposedly injected 50 units and omg so much movement after the fact. In life they say "You pay what you get" indeed I did. A mixture of to much saline and a minuscules amount of Botox. In my 20 years and journey I have never felt so robbed and taken advantage of like I did at Peach Skin and Laser. The fact that you're so near the border should make you all thrive for perfection, because we indeed have options of better service . This comment coming from a California native implanted in Yuma, I have no problem paying for services because I am accustomed to high prices, unfortunately it's evident you I am not unknowingly, or an uneducated clientele, who's not going to challenge you. For example my appointment was schedule at 10:30, I arrived at 10:15 and it's past 10:55 and I'm still in the waiting room. And the worst part is I already went to the Woman's Medical Center and they give me the info I needed but apparently they could not give me a referral because they are not my "assigned doc", so when I told the nurses here with Dr. Tammy, they told me I still had to come in to see Doctor. The cruddy part is they told me it would be a "quick" visit on the phone. I've been in the waiting room for over half an hour. I don't normally write things like this. One look at my arsenal of reviews and you'll see there are…read morehardly any negative ones. On behalf of my mother, I'm going to make an exception here. My mom is pretty conservative when it comes to spending money on herself and noticed Acacia was having a sale on laser facials for only a fraction of the price you'd see advertised at any other professional establishment. This apparently was quite painful and resulted in third degree burns that developed about a month later and continued to worsen with time. Since this reaction wasn't immediate she didn't realize it was from said facials and proceeded to see doctors, take antibiotics, etc. I witnessed my mom go through a lot of emotions and insecurity for several months desperate for answers. She is unable to go out into the sun. She wears a mask in her car. She works in a business where she is surrounded by people all day and trust me, they asked about her face. Her dermatologist immediately knew that this was a result of the laser facial and that not only should it have not been painful but that a real professional would provide proper instructions on things to take/use before and post treatment- Based on her skin tone and type, the laser should've never been on the setting it was on. He informed her that there was no cure for this. My mother decided she'd stop by and show the ladies at Acacia what had happened to her skin and if you think anyone was surprised or sympathetic, you'd be wrong. It's absolutely appalling to me that anyone could be so insensitive as to simply reply with "Yeah, that's the risk." Please be wary if you're an existing customer or considering becoming a new one of Acacia MedSpa. This is not the way women want to feel. It might be more costly but there are other Medspas in town that will walk you through the preventative measures and know how to use their equipment properly.
