The interior features a lush red aesthetic, chandeliers, dark wood, etched glass, and a sunken piano bar with live music on select nights. It's a neat venue, but on the downside the bar is enclosed, allows smoking and the smoke capture is not 100%. The smoke is noticeable when entering the restrauant, but it's not bothersome or noticeable after seating. We started with a Dirty Martini, Old Fashion, and Shrimp Cocktail. All three were very good. For our entrees Jan wnt with the filet shrimp, baked potato and green beans. I ordered fried shrimp, fries and corn on the cob. Jan's filet was very good, cooked to order, tender and flavorable. My shrimp was good, the fries were good, the corn on the cob was mushy and I couldn't eat it. The service was good. Our servers and hostes have been there for decades, and you can they enjoy serving and are proud of Junior's.

I personally find turkey clubs pretty boring, but my wife loves them, and this one she gave 5 out of 5, so don't mind my opinion. The staff was very friendly and courteous. A server came out to see if we had ordered a specific item and we told her no and told her our order again. Had to show her the receipt. Both tables beside me got their bread service before me, both got their orders taken and food delivered before me, both got checked on by the manager who made the rounds and somehow skipped right over me. And a table of eight who came in after all of us got eight individual pizzas before all of us!!! All were offered dessert. I was asked if I wanted a to-go cup of tea lol. The food itself was mixed. The arancini were over-breaded and the filling was bland but the marinara dipping sauce was genuinely outstanding. I kept eating the sad little balls just to get more of it. The roasted red pepper soup was decent tomato soup. Just tomato soup. The bright spots are real but being a solo diner shouldn't mean being an afterthought. The Chicken Fried Steak came out perfect , not too thick not too thin , good breading , hot , and the gravy was pretty good. It was on a piece of Texas Toast which I'm not used too , but it was fine. Mashed Potatoes were thick , not too creamy , and good. The gravy went well with both and I did add some pepper since I like mine more peppery . Green Beans , well they threw me off. I was trying to find out what the strange flavor was in them and I had to ask Olivia. She told me it was Sugar , what ? I knew I was tasting sweet and thought it was Honey which would also be kind of weird in Green Beans. I saw little pieces of Onions and she told me they use Bacon and Sugar and I think Butter. When I make Green Beans I use Garlic Salt and Butter and sometimes Bacon , but not Sugar. Complimentary Croissant was just okay , but I would've preferred a Yeast Roll with Cinnamon Butter. Sweet Tea was just right also. I'm originally from South Carolina and sometimes back home it's really sweet , but as I've gotten older I like it a little toned down , but not under sweet. I talked to Olivia about the Baby Back Ribs and will be back to give those a try and maybe bring my Son and his Wife with me. The restaurant was clean and organized and the staff was friendly. I also got a Veteran Discount which I appreciate. I would recommend to anyone if they've never tried a Cheddar's.

Asked for medium for the burger and it was at most medium rare. Fries were like warm by the time they got to the table. Restaurant was clean and neat but we were seated near one of the kitchen entrances so got to listen to the employees yell "corner" every 30-60 seconds. For the price it's not worth returning.
