I didn't even complain then I chalked it up to a bad day. I received it today same thing, then to top it off I paid for extra shrimp they throw in salad shrimp from egg rolls. I called to complain today, and the young lady said because of travel they started sending it dry. And that I have to say If I want it "dry" or wet". I can bring it in for sauce. That made no sense! Because whether or not this comes with sauce. Not water, sauce! And again I never had to tell them dry or wet! Which I won't be doing because I got delivery in the first place for a reason.

Other Chinese restaurants load up on sauces that are oily and drench the entire meal. I highly recommend Chang Jiang! The only downside and criticism from giving this place a 5-Star rating is the lack of electronic money use(AKA Credit Card or digital pay). You have to pay everything in cash, which is ridiculous, even though there is an ATM in the store that I'm reluctant to use. It's 2021 going on 2022. They need to get with the program of accepting card. More and more patrons are ditching paper money and converting to paperless payment(given this viral plague we are in). Even for delivery it's all cash. Great food, however please get up to date with credit cards. You'll get more business, given I am the first person to place this restaurant on YELP to promote their great food and business.

My first and last time trying this place out. I ordered 2 platters. First order was general T…read morechicken with fried rice and the second was 4 wings with fried rice. Everything was salty. I could not say I enjoyed anything except the free egg rolls that came along with it. The fried rice was hard like they used old clumpy rice that's been sitting out and poured some soy sauce on it. And the chicken wings were not the typical Chinese store wings. Whatever batter they used, it was more like tempura style wings fried hard in old grease. Whoever was in that kitchen does not belong in that kitchen.

A thoroughly humiliating experience…read more I was dining with my compatriot Michael at Mien Noodles for an APA pool event and ordered the bao buns and lo mein noodles. As he had never had them before, I had just gotten done explaining what a bao bun was and what a delicacy it was. When the food came out I intended to have one and for him to sample the other, but upon trying mine I realized this would be an awful first experience with a bao bun and may give him a negative impression of the dish altogether as the bao buns were EXTREMELY DRY. The consistency of paper. They dried my mouth out so much I finished my ginger ale in one gulp. The other bun was left unconsumed on my plate. A demoralizing experience and I'm surprised I was even able to win my pool match after such a subpar meal, which shook me to my very core. The waitresses comped our drinks but did not remove the buns. The lo mein was delicious. It is my ardent hope that Mien Noodles is able to master the bao bun as a way to give those who have never had one before the joy of the bun. It is the decent and right thing to do.
