Had a great experience today. A friendly woman greeted me warmly and brought me back to a massage room where I got a foot soak, foot rub, scalp massage, shoulders, and back massage. My massage therapist crunched out the knots in my shoulders, which just hurts so damn good, and was my main reason for going. I will definitely be back soon. I walked out of there feeling blissful and relaxed. read more

I love Yu Foot Spa! My husband and I pop in there sporadically (no appointment needed) and love how casual it is. I've brought friends on girls night out, etc. The massages are wonderful. They use great pressure and I always feel great when I leave. The staff is kind and we always look forward to visiting! read more

I spent alot of time on my feet at the hospital taking care of my boyfriend. I called last minute to get appt. I got right in and had a wonderful massage on my feet and back. Very affordable!! Highly recommend!! read more

Ask for Allen best massage in town! Big rooms but private! They also can accommodate a couple massage. Allen gets all my knots and relaxes me. Always professional and very clean. read more

Best massage ever!! The massage was hard and Thorough! I had the foot and body massage combo. So my entire body was feeling new. I highly recommend it.Iforgot to get the man's name who worked on me. read more

Very relaxing spa! Cindy is a great masseuse ! I slept so hard after! It's a great price for an hour long massage! Love my feet done the most! read more

Great place for the $$! Very "strong" hand massage so be prepared. Clean and courteous- owner very nice. Hard workers so leave a tip

Kevin was amazing! Strongly recommend. The massage was the best. It's a different type of massage - I am planning on regular appointments. I haven't felt this great after a massage ever. read more

Amazing, especially for the price. If you like a VERY firm, deep massage, this is the right place for you.

One of the top 3 massages of my life!! (I've had about 100 over 30 years). I kid you not, I nearly felt my spirit leave my body. I definitely felt I was floating for majority of the massage! -My husband and I dropped in w/o a reservation b/c we had to kill time while an hour away from home. We were greeted politely and after choosing the type of massage only had to wait about 5 minutes before we were taken to our massage room. Allen did a masterful job as he worked me over from head to toe. I experienced some new techniques, which is rare, and he was very intuitive with the pressure leading right to the point where it was almost too much, but NEVER crossing that line. read more

Not very clean. Old, worn out towels. Basic lotions. Music is very loud for the big space it is in, kind of not relaxing. : / Similar prices to other services in the NW burbs. Easy to walk in or make appointment. I prefer Cozy Foot Massage in Lake Villa. Live in McHenry & happy to make a 30 min drive. read more

You officially never need to go to a fancy massage studio and pay way too much money ever again! Yu is immaculate, cozy and offers an amazing massage. I left feeling so relaxed and without a knot in my entire body (a super rare thing). I can't figured out what my favorite part was, the foot massage, the head massage, the back massage, it was honestly all heavenly. I believe my masseuse was the owner and I highly recommend seeing her. She applied plenty of pressure without ever causing pain and took her time. I could have fallen asleep I was so relaxed. A little tip would be to go in workout clothes or clothes you don't mind getting a little oily because you don't disrobe the way you would traditionally for a massage. You keep all of your clothes on and are not in a private room. I came with my friend and her mom who've been coming here for years, so I was was ready with workout clothes. If I lived close by, I'd absolutely make this a bimonthly treat to myself. read more

Best deal.... 35$ for an hour special, easy to get a time you want and not weird! Best massage for the price for sure

What a deal ! Please keep your prices. Your service is spectacular. I go for the value.

Not your traditional massage, but excellent! Have gone here all summer and can't wait to get back. Their prices are amazing and massage. Therapist are great! I would highly recommend! read more

my girlfriend and I came here to try and relieve some stress and from the minute we walked in we didn't t feel welcomed and only felt rushed- the front desk lady wasn't kind and when we asked if we could use the bathroom before starting she seemed irritated. then we get in our room get comfortable and could tell from the get go this wasn't going to go well. my massage lady was the same as the front desk so every time someone walked in she left the room to check them in and then i had some random lady step in and massage my legs for two seconds also during the experience she barely used any lotion and seemed to just be rushing all of it and nothing made sense in the flow. when we were done my girlfriend said hers was awful as well and when we checked out we tipped according to the experience and the front desk lady had the audacity to tell us what standard tipping was and we said a tip is not required but added to reflect the experience she continued to be extremely rude we will never come back and will would never recommend coming here. read more

I'm just leaving and wanted to capture my feelings and experiences. I went with my daughter and her massage person coughed or cleared his throat EVERY minute we were there. There was another person there that was either on the verge of vomiting or clearing their throat. This was the antithesis of a relaxing time. When I was asked how our time was and I said, "Not good," the owner said "So sorry" and talked in another language. This will be the last time I go there. I am bringing my daughter home now to get her in a shower. We are not relaxed. We are not feeling comfortable. We are agitated and irritated. read more

I went to get a 60 minute massage with my mom. There was not a moment that went by in the 60 minutes that we were there that the masseuse was not coughing or clearing his throat. The woman at the front, I presume the owner, also was constantly coughing. While we're in Covid I don't think it's professional to have employees come to work that have a cough. I will be reporting them to the health department as I believe they are violating Covid protocols. read more

I brought my husband and mother in law to help to destress. We request a softer massage since we have sensitive skin. And they did just that! We came out feeling incredibly well. Very clean and sanitary. The location is great to go to after having a nice dinner. read more

I've been to many spas, and this was one close to my neighborhood and really great service. They got all my knots out and really gave me the full massage I needed. It even ended with a hot stone massage that was unexpected. Will be back every month!!! read more

I have been there 3 times now and I get a message regularly for overall body health. This place left me feeling relaxed and rested, it is also a great value compared to many others. read more

Very unique experience but great massage at an affordable price! It's not your typical fancy spa but I would have preferred a little bit more privacy. read more

The place was clean and my massage was very relaxing. Price was very reasonable. I felt very relaxed afterwards. I would recommend this place. read more

I have massage in this morning whis my Husband. Highly recommended. Professional experience, like to have massage every Sunday.

I've been to Yu Foot Spa twice now in the past couple of weeks and over all I am very happy with my experiences. The staff is friendly, and very professional, and quick to adjust the pressure if it's too hard. The $28 for one hour special can't be beat! read more

Very good massage. I have had both the foot massage and the body massage. Both were excellent. This is a "leave your clothes on" place. While this would not be my first choice......I still loved the massage and will return. read more

Wow, what a wonderful way to start a Saturday!!!!! I took my 17 year old daughter here for her birthday. What an incredible experience. We've talked many times today about what part of the message was the best and still can't decide. All in all a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back read more

WOW! I just got my first massage and seriously have no clue what took me so long. I feel sooooo amazing. It's nice and dark and calming music is playing. The rooms are separated. The person was amazing. Very good pressure and movement. I've been having problems with one of my knees and my body has been aching from overcompensating. I changed my mind on the chiropractor and decided to go for massage. Couldn't have been any better. I'll be coming back as often as possible. Oh, and punch cards if you pay cash. Best. Ever. read more

I have never been to a strip mall massage facility until I visited this place last year. I have read quite a few articles about seedy massage parlors and this isn't one of them. The rooms are clean and the employees are respectful; and know their job. You can immediately tell walking in that no hanky-panky can take place because there are no doors to lock. The doors are loosely covered by curtains that stop 2-3 feet above the floor surface so that you can actually see clients getting massages in a decent and appropriate manner. read more

Best kept secret! I want this business to do well because it is the best. Don't be fooled by "foot spa" you get a head to toe massage (clothed) and it is as good, actually better in my opinion that luxury spas. You can't beat the $28 hour price. I would much rather go and pay this and tip generously then pay $60 and have to spend more to tip on something already costly. My favorite is Alan but they are all great. We try to go once a month. Be sure to give this a try and tip generously! read more

Best foot massage place I have been to. I go a few times a month need it or not:)

Worst management. Not friendly staff. The owner seems to be mad all the time. They don't use oil which hurts your skin so much for giving massage too hard. I get it we want quality but come on, we don't want painful ripped skin! Not coming back here. Worst service of all! read more

Horrible customer service. Their card reader wasn't working properly and was giving error messages. Because of this we used a credit card after first the debit card seemingly didn't go through. Ultimately we were charged on both the debit and credit cards, each for the full amount! Having to go through a major hassle to dispute one of these with the bank(s) because the management refuses to acknowledge the error and provide credit themselves. It has been weeks and things still aren't resolved. This event has soured the massage experience so much so that we will never return. read more

I love this place!!! I've been there twice and am planning on going at least once a month. I've requested Andy and will continue to request Andy. He is such a hard worker and knows what he's doing! Great prices, too! read more

I come here at least once a month to release some tension after stressful days at work. I always come out feeling relaxed and loosened up.

Great massage, great price. Wear shorts and enjoy basically a full body massage for $28. I'm sure therapist are paid by tips at that price so please give them what you feel what they should be paid for an hour's work! I usually give $20. Family owned business very nice people. read more

Excellent! I had my massage yesterday and I feel very peaceful today. I have an issue with my right hip and lower back. Did my yoga and the stretch for both hips felt even and open. Called the day before and made an appointment for next day no problem read more

Much more than you might expect! The hour foot massage is really a total body massage - and the price is amazing. Every is super nice, it is clean and unless it is the weekend, you can usually walk in w/out an appointment. Highly recommend. read more

I've gotten lots of massages from lots of places. Resort luxury spas. Physical therapy centers. Private in home sessions. I've had good massages and bad massages and massages in between. This place is super affordable (so make the tip a good one) and has always accommodated me on short notice. If your looking for a luxury experience, this isn't for you. But if your looking for a great, therapeutic and relaxing massage, you should definitely give it a try. They incorporate pressure point and reflexology and I always leave feeling good. Keep most of your clothes on for this one...I usually wear comfy yoga pants and tank top. Id lose the bra, too, if you wear one...but that's just me. I'm a regular. read more
