Peter knew Minimal English but he did a great job and I will be back. What to expect from massage; First you will checkin, be put in a small room with draped doors. Undress to your comfort level and get under the towel. I kept my lulu lemon shorts on and take off my shirt and bra. I went here expecting a soothing foot massage, but the had a guy massaging my feet and boy was he strong handed. I had to tell him to ease up, I do have tender feet lol. He did adjust the pressure he was using, so the rest of the massage was good. Now I am a guy and feel weird having another guy massage my feet. The massages here are wonderful! I usually get the foot massage which also includes a massage for your head, neck and back. They can accommodate if you want to go with a couple of friends and you can all be in the same room. They dim they lights and you lay on a bed with a warm compress under your back when you begin the massage. The only bad thing? I have done the foot massage, body oil massage and the acupressure massage. We go 2-4 times a month the last year. The prices are very fair! The masseuse really puts a lot of physical work into the massage. I have had both a male and female masseuse work on me here and both are equally strong and skilled. First, the website has promotions that are no longer valid nor have been for some time. The whole reason I came in was because the offer was a 90 minute massage for $42, normally $48. He said that was no longer available so I was going to get what I normally would.....a 60 minute massage for $28. Now they are 40 minute for $28. I understand they can't massage the face so the massage will be shorter, but they cannot take off ONE THIRD of the amount of time and keep the price the SAME. They didn't seem to get what the problem was. It's too bad, l came here all the time. Until they figure out WHY they're ripping us off and can adjust their prices, I won't be coming back. read more

This place is SO good. I felt healed like I never do. I get regular massage at least once a month and while it's good, this place was life changing. I could not even leave right away because I felt so good I was actually laughing like I had had a few drinks! It's super clean, calming, nicely decorated, peaceful. You cannot beat the price. I would like to talk to them more about health benefits and if they could tell if I had blockages of my chi or things but their English was limited. Not a big deal. Holy moly what an amazing experience! I brought my aunt here for us to enjoy massages for her bday. I've never been to this foot spa before but I have been to many other ones in the past. I have had both good and bad experiences and when I mean bad I just mean that I forget how to speak and let the Masseuse that I'm in pain so I grit my teeth until the hour is over.. Well this was not the case today. Ailin pronounced like the word island without the d. He was absolutely amazing and I mean it. I chose the 60min package that included hot oil and hot stones. It was my First time experiencing these massages with hot oil and stones And I am not usually comfortable with removing my shirt but I went for it anyway and it was absolutely amazing and a complete game changer I think I spend 47 maybe $48 for the massage but I promise that hot oil and the stones are worth it! Mid massage, the masseuse will ask you to remove your shirt but there is a towel over you and he leaves the room for a moment but I imagine you can remove your shirt beforehand. I did not do that because I figured once I turn from my back to my stomach above me slip out and it would be embarrassing so instead I flipped over on my stomach and removed my top as my chest was pressed against the bed. You are welcome for the idea! I will absolutely come here again. Again I have much experience and in comparison this is one of the best massages I have had period a month ago I went to another one and they left in the most terrible pain. Frustrated! Longtime customer has previously ALWAYS been wonderful. However today was entirely different. I finally decided to upgrade to a 90 minute and there was not only work being done on the roof but VERY LOUD music as well. Nothing could over power it. I was advised that the buildings roof was leaking. With that said is the building even safe? Second, NOTHING was offered or done to accommodate a rescheduled visit. NOT VERY CUSTOMER FORWARD. Awesome for the price. I had a therapist named Jerry on both of my visits here and was pleased with the results. They offer a frequent visit card which is a nice touch to keep you coming back. It is not posh like the places for double the price, which can be expensive when you pay for the decor. But! if you need a massage to seriously relieve the tension and pain of the day, week, month whatever, this is the spot for you. They are all about the massage not the fluff of the atmosphere. The foot massage is an incredible value. It is 60 minutes long and includes a neck, back, arms, legs, and feet massage for $28. I always leave feeling very relaxed with my tension relieved and my knots worked on. The staff doesn't speak much english. Call and ask for an appointment. When you arrive, give them the last 4 digits of your phone number. Also, the massage is in a room with other beds and you may share your room with other people. Today I did a 30 min foot massage and 30 min body massage. My masseuse was a young gal who really knows what she is doing. Most places have a set order to their massage - three times on left side, three times on right side. This gal honed in on some problem areas and made sure they were taken care of! This was my first time with cupping which I had on my feet. Interesting! Paying was direct and I appreciate the bottle of water to go. When I tell you I from probably one of the top 3 best massages I've had in my life, that means a lot since it came from a small massage place in Algonquin!! Of course when I say that I'm not including the location and lux of the place but just pure skill of the therapist. Now out of my own selfishness I'm not going to write her name on here because it will probably be hard to get into see HER (that's the only hint). So other details you won't find out on the website a $28 hr massage includes everything and way more than I've ever seen offered at one of these places. She did full body massage (with clothes on so dress in loose comfy clothes) In addition to full body she also did a technique called cupping on my feet, while the cups are working their magic she used hot stones to massage my feet and legs. She then took the cups off and used a nice hot towel. I figured that after all that the massage was over because I only was getting the $28, but she had me turn over and it continued. When I walked up to pay I thought this is going to be the higher priced one but it was $28! I had always wanted to try cupping but no where offered it. I asked if they'd do them on my back and shoulders and they said sure! After it's done they give you a bottle of cold water... The whole thing was so amazing I'm going back tomorrow for 90 mins! Awesome place. It was our first time so I have a lengthy review for first timers. My husband and I made appointments (which I recommend) bc I watched 3 people be turned away because they were busy. We booked the 60min foot which includes head, neck, and shoulders. Let me tell ya- it was more than what I expected. I assumed I'd stay clothed and be sitting in a chair- wrong. Your in a dimmed room and I got down to my shorts. I wore a sweatshirt so he gave me privacy to get my sweatshirt off. After a few minutes, they came back and got started. My husband had Lisa and I had Ivan. I didn't realize this particular booking included hot oil but it sure did. We actually chose this bc I didn't think it would have oil. I had makeup on (poor choice lol) but I didn't care about it getting messed up. We had dinner plans after this, which wasn't our best move but we just went a little greasy lol. It was a wonderful surprise. They started at the head and worked their way to our feet. We were then flipped onto our stomachs. I couldn't believe how "legit" it was. It was basically full body. My first time. I went for the 45/45 foot/body massage. There was no appointment, and no wait on a Thursday afternoon. The place is very clean. I requested a medium/hard massage and received exactly that, being asked a couple times if it was fine. The first 45 min was the foot treatment. As my feet were soaking, I received a face/head/arm/hand/shoulder/neck massage. I read other reviews and would agree to wear shorts and a loose top (t-shirt). This background music and the scent of the lotion were very relaxing. After the upper body massage and soak, she started working on my feet and legs. She did real cupping with a flame/cup to my feet and also used hot stones on my feet and legs. Amazing! After 45 min, I felt great. I was led into another room for the massage. I was told to undress and I did so to my boxers. I was covered at all times on the body parts that were not being worked on. She used hot oil during the massage and hot stones at the end. Overall, I felt like she really read my body and worked the spots more that needed it. I had that after massage high for hours after it and I was so happy. They gave me a water to go too. The price also includes tax as my card was charged exactly the quoted price. Again, following advice of others, I tipped the masseuse directly. I had only recently started massages and did 3 last year at two different places, once every other month. This was my first one this year. I felt this was the most "worth it" place and I will definitely be back in 2-4 weeks for a foot massage and then a body massage every other time. The prices posted in the other pics were correct. Everything was a great experience from entrance to exit. I highly recommend at least the foot massage for everyone even just thinking about it. I've been to another foot massage/reflexology place many times before and had to drive 30 minutes each way to get there. That I did happily, until I found Foot Retreat, which is dangerously close to home! I've been to Foot Retreat twice so far, and both massages were with different people and both were terrific. Appointments are not always necessary, but at busy time you may not get in right away if you don't have an appointment. If you're not familiar with the type of massage the "foot massage/reflexology" places offer, I'll explain. It's far from just a foot massage! You check in at reception and are ushered to a room of three massage chair/beds. You lie down, fully clothed, but remove your shoes and socks. (Pro tip: If possible, wear shorts or capri pants and comfortable, loose clothing in general because your entire massage is done while you are fully clothed.) Your massage therapist then brings in a bucket of comfortably warm water and you soak your feet in it. While your feet are soaking, your massage therapist massages your head, ears, neck, face and arms/hands. Then they move on to your feet and you get an amazing foot and leg massage with reflexology on your feet. One thing that was different at this place from the other place I've been to is that they do a technique called cupping on your feet. It's sort of like warm suction cups affixed to your feet for a short time to increase circulation. (Remember Michael Phelps and the Olympics?) When your feet are done, your therapist uses hot stones to massage your legs and then removes any residual massage lotion from your legs and feet with a hot towel. Then you are asked to flip over and your back, neck and the back of your legs get the same treatment. Knees and elbows were definitely involved in the back and leg massage and it was the perfect deep tissue pressure. When your massage is finished and you feel dazed and relaxed and generally like buttah, you go to reception to pay and they give you a refreshing bottle of cold water. (Pro tip: Tip your massage therapist right after your massage before you pay, because they usually disappear into another room to start their next massage shortly thereafter. I prefer to give the tip directly to the person and not have the manager/owner give it to them later.) This place is an amazing bargain for $28. I can't recommend it enough. read more

Great massage! I always opt for the $28 foot massage but it's much more than just a foot massage. It's well worth the money.

Just went here today and it was awesome. They soak your feet and while your feet are soaking they massage your head, neck, shoulders, face, arms, and hands and then move on to your feet. After your feet they do your calves and legs and then you flip over and they do your neck and shoulders. I wouldn't advise wearing any make up. They use LOTS of oil. From head/hair to toe. I would wear baggy clothes and maybe not super nice ones on account of the oil. I did the $28/hr foot massage. I think maybe 15 minutes of the hour was feet. But it was nice.
