Came here for a haircut, then asked for price for a mani/pedi (wanna come home crisp and clean)…read more And the freakout moment for me was everything happened while I was sitting down on the barber chair, checking email on the right while she was worked on my left hand and vice versa, then my feet (the foot massage was 2die4) and the barber cutting my hair- all in concert, all mani/pedi tools and solutions were modular and wheeled over to your chair. I couldn't believe. I thought it was hilarious that this was all happening at the same time and had my doubts. Was totally impressed with the service and quality of work. My haircut was def what I wanted, hands and feet in great manicured shape, all this for about 1100 pesos (about $22)!!! I was in and out in 1 hour, no lie. This is the most efficient groom service I've experienced ever, best grooming regimen in any barber or salon ever. They do shaves/massages the classic way too. You must come here to check it out. Verdict: Oh hell yes I'm coming back. Visits: 1 Tip: Cash only. This location is in the Mall of Asia, MOA. It gets super busy in here and there's a wait if you don't have an appt. While you do this, your girl/ significant other can go to I think there are 2 salons next door; she can take her pick. Tip your barber or manicurist 100 pesos, about $2 before you leave.

If you are looking for one stop place for self-care and great price then Let's Face It is the place…read morefor you. This is my go to place for facial, footspa, pedicure, eyelash and eyebrow services. I've been to their other locations in Manila area as well as in Iloilo and I always have great experience with them. The staff are so good on what they do. They are very thorough with the facial treatment, foot spa and pedicure. They take their time cleaning your face and scrubbing your feet. They make sure you are happy with the result. I paid Php 790 for facial treatment that includes: cleaning, brushing, extraction, peel off collagen mask and a short shoulder/face massage. They will recommend what kind of facial mask suits your skin type and the price could vary. The footspa with pedicure could vary with price as well depending on the nail polish you choose. I highly recommend this place. Check out their website for other services they offer. I am not sure if they take reservations, I always walk in and have been fortunate to be catered right away.

Upon arriving at the reception, there were about 5 employees…read moresitting/standing, and one customer in front of us, but not one employee acknowledged me and my companion. They were just looking at us. I had to be the first one to say hello. The massage room was not relaxing; the music was mix pop and r&b, and I could here employees talking from outside. The masseuse was good enough, although there were techniques performed that needed a gentler approach. Customer service has to be improved.

Tony and Jackey - Not sure how this worked as no one explained but I didn't like that I couldn't see myself in the mirror properly!

Me and my sister have been really curious with Tony & Jackey since we've seen their advertisement…read morethru FB. Last week, I've got the chance to visit one of their branch! Since I accompanied my sister around Makati area to run some errands, we decided to drop by to a salon for a Hair Color. Though, we're a little hesitant at first because we are not familiar with this salon yet we proceed with the service. Been eyeing a Ash Light Brown Color since then, but other salon can't make it happen and to my suprise, Tony & Jackey made my dream hair come true! Had a smooth service with them, the staffs and Hairstylist are very friendly. They're very attentive with their customers. You can really say the 'what you see is what you get!" Hehe. Thank you so much!

I have been wanting to rebond (permanently straighten) my hair for a while so I started asking…read morearound for good places to get it done as it is important to have someone fully qualified do it not to damage your hair and for it to last longer. Tony and Jackie kept coming up on reviews speaking VERY highly of it so I decided to give it a go. The experience overall was a little disappointing but this might be because the reviews had set my expectations too high. Tips: 1) Keep an eye on their Facebook page as they always have some sort of promotion going on: https://www.facebook.com/bangstnj 2) Do not give in if they aggressively try to sell you some additional stuff like more treatments (trust me, for the service that you will get, it will not be worth it). I didn't get additional treatment and my hair was perfectly fine!! 3) I got the L'Oreal rebond as they kept insisting but I almost wish I hadn't because I am convinced the cheaper Aqua treatment would have been just fine! If I could go back in time I would do Aqua! it's half the price and I can't imagine being so bad! My experience: The promo going on right now can get you the Aqua rebond for 2500php, the L'Oreal rebond for 4000php and Black Classic rebond for 5000php. As I got there, they took me straight to wash my hair without offering to store my bag or putting one of those hairdressing aprons on. They asked me if I had recently coloured my hair (not in 2 years) or rebonded it (not in 5 years). Then I got surrounded by three ladies who started telling me how badly damaged my hair was (really??!) and that I should get the black classic treatment, which is the most expensive one of course! It was a bit intense and didn't feel too comfortable, they were definitely overselling and when I asked if I could get the Aqua instead, they said that is for "first timers" to which I said, yeah I since my last time was 5 years ago, my hair hasn't been treated with anything. They said "no but it's still too thin". Hmmm I started getting a little suspicious but I eventually gave in and decided to do the L'Oreal one. The main lady looked really annoyed about my decision. And they all kept giving each other looks like they were thinking something... Then they offered more treatments to do on top and I pointed out that there already was treatment with the deal... they said I should get one more. Took me a while to say no but I eventually managed to refuse! I will not bore you with the whole experience in details but essentially, the service was quite bad. They burnt my head with the straightener a couple of times and with the hairdryer several times (ouch!!). Also the tea comes in paper cups... not too professional. And the way the wash your hair is quite violent... The whole experience made me think of a Cebu Pacific flight: you love it because it's cheap, but you hate it because the seats are so small and service so bad. But it does get you there which is the important part. This salon was the same. Great prices, terrible service... but gets you the result you want.

When it came for the routine massage, i thought he'd do it for at least a few minutes. I thought wrong. He took some light oil and patted my head for a very lousy massage. Patted my back a few times and then that's it. I felt he rushed me because there was an elderly who seems to be his customer and lrobably pays well. The thing is there is no reservation in this establishment so there's no reason to be rushing. Paid 300 for the lousy haircut and still tipped the guy for a 100. Barber's name was Ivan, this is at Cash and Carry Makati. I'm never going back to this place.

The closest and just about the only place in the area where he wasn't liable to get his ear sheared off Happy Tree Friends-style was Beppo's in Cash n' Carry, so we walked past the red and blue barber's pole and was greeted inside by painting after painting of nude women. Setting aside the "artsy" décor for a moment, my lobster was eventually ushered to a seat and an old guy with a Sweeney Todd razor started working on the topiary hedge on his head. This was my first time in an honest to goodness barber shop so I have no frame of reference, but the whole think took a long, long time. Who knew it took so long to cut hair? And two hundred pesos for a haircut! This costs forty pesos in the province, damn it. Or so they tell me. In the end though, it was worth it. The urge to drug my lobster and cut off his hair while he slept a la Delilah disappeared along with the animal shapes on his head.
