I was in the…read moremarket for a new violin and thought I'd give Cornell a try since I hadn't seen any negative reviews. I called to make my appointment, which I originally thought I'd have to do on the weekend since all other string stores are closed by the time I'm off work, and Molly was happy to give me some time on a Thursday night. I think I was there till a little after 8 and at no point did I feel rushed. When I arrived she had a select few violins ready for me to try for my level. In our initial phone call I hadn't given too much information about my skill but her selections for me were 100% what I needed. From reviews at other shops I thought I was going to be pressured into buying something expensive that I didn't need. That was absolutely not the case here. The selections she showed me were all in my price range and she answered any questions I had to make sure I chose the perfect instrument. I'll definitely be coming back.

I have recorded about 3 dozen original songs at VRS, as well as 14 more that are traditional songs for kids. My original music is very eclectic, including vocal and instrumental tunes. I plan to record many more tunes with Andy, because he knows his equipment inside and out, gets great results quickly, and continually comes up with creative options when we hit a snag. Besides all of that, he's just really a good, dependable guy - which goes a long way with me. I highly recommend working with Andy. Give him a call.
