Whenever I'm out with my baby, I would always bring feeding bottles and stored milk so I wouldn't have to breastfeed in public, or if I had to, I would go to the most secluded area I could find. I love shopping for baby stuff in Rustan's at Alabang Town Center so I was really happy when I found out that they have a breastfeeding area inside their store. It's not just a nursing room per se, but more of a baby room. There's an area where toddlers can play and read, and a small crib where you can change baby's dirty nappy. I like that it feels more like a baby's room at a friend's house rather than a common room at the mall. And it's located inside Rustan's (near the Infants and Toys section) so I don't have to leave the department store area if I need to nurse my baby.

Man, I've grown up a lot but the Rustan's in Alabang town Center is still standing. It's weird to…read moresee this place now that I'm older and it not changing one little bit. Sure the products on their shelves have changed with each passing seasons, but that's to be expected. This was where I used to buy my Pokemon cards when I was a lot younger during my elementary days. Rustan's is still the place to go to if you're looking for something fancy and classy. I mean, Rustan's is practically synonymous with big name brands. Brands that you would rarely see anywhere else in fact. I passed by the other day and found out that they know stocked items from the designer Oleg Cassini for crying out loud. I don't think I'd find that anywhere else other than Rustan's. If you're looking for a fancy pair of shoes, threads, cosmetics or whatever then Rustan's is your best bet.

My sister and I used to joke that you could go around SM Molino in more or less 10 minutes. That's…read morehow small it is. Indeed, this mini mall (let's call it that) is only two floors, and most of its second floor is occupied by the Hypermarket. Don't get us wrong, though. We actually like it here. It the closest mall to where we live (it actually stands on the entrance of our subdivision, Citihomes, so we have to pass it on our way to school or work and back home). It has made grocery shopping and film viewing, among other things, so convenient for us. Aside from Hypermarket, this SM Center has Watson's, National Bookstore, CD-R King, Bench, Penshoppe, Preppy, Mendrez, Get Laud, Blue Magic, Rusty Lopez, Oxygen, Unisilver, etc., for your shopping needs. Meanwhile, for the foodies, it has Greenwich, Domino's, Max's, Chowking, KFC, Mang Inasal, Jollibee, Red Ribbon, Pizza Hut, and Goldilocks, etc. It also houses a few hair and nail salons, a massage service, skin clinics, a music store, a sports store, a courier service, and an Internet cafe. What is also great is that this place is a techy haven, with Globe, Smart, and Sun shops, as well as so many stalls and stores for mobile phones and computers and accessories. The mall is currently in the midst of a huge renovation, which probably means it won't be a mini mall for long. We don't look forward to the heavier traffic this will bring to our little part of town, but we can't wait to have more shops to explore when the construction finishes.

Nonsense Parking Policy…read more We came in at 12:23PM to do our groceries. When we were done my wife had to buy medicine from Mercury so I went ahead with my kid to load the groceries and wait for her. I paid the parking fee at 1:48PM, left the parking spot as courtesy and waited on a nearby spot inside the parking on hazard. My wife was back and we were on our way out when we were stopped at the parking exit. They told us we had to pay again because we exceeded the 15 minute grace period we had to leave the premises upon parking payment. Apparently we had to leave before 2:03PM but it was 2:10PM. We already paid the initial fee for the first 3 hours, we weren't even there for more than 1.5 hours, and now we had to pay again because of their 'policy'? It was not anywhere in their ticket but there was a standee in the payment area where it was written. When I talked with the manager, I was explaining my side and mid sentence she cut me off. This broke my patience and so I've had it. I told her she was rude and we are just going to pay for it. It was not worth the time and effort. We spend around 40k in groceries in landmark monthly but this will be the last time. I will be conducting business elsewhere. It would have been more beneficial for us to not pay parking ahead of time and chill in a supposed to be available parking spot for other people.

Department Store in MOA (MANILA Philippines)…read more The SM Store offer a wide range of merchandise. I remembered this as Shoemart when I lived in the Philippines until I was 11 years old. I bought a pair of Crocs flats to replace my worn out pair back home. I love these... my mom and sister each also purchased a pair. The salesperson was very helpful. She patiently went to get the correct sizes for us. She had to go to another part of the store to grab them. Not sure how far she went to get them but we waited quite awhile. The Crocs were displayed in a small section right at the entrance (which immediately caught my eye). Prices for the Crocs were comparable to U.S. pricing (about $52 for my flats). There was no line at the register and the transaction went fast and smooth. We were able to pay by credit card. Located in the South Parking Building on the first level. The SM Store is the largest department store chain in the Philippines. Review #3301

I think it's valuable to visit a unique place like this as there's lots of rare finds. It was pretty busy. I had to maneuver around a lot of people while browsing. They had a lot of merch that I wanted but I knew I didn't have a lot of space in my luggage. When you check out, just know green shopping bags are sturdy and good quality. I regret buying the brown shopping bags. I noticed they smelled funny when I unpacked my luggage when I got home. I ended up recycling them. I wish I had more luggage space. I wish I had more time in this store. I guess it gives me a reason to come back here on my next vacation.

My favorite store in MOA (MANILA Philippines)…read more This store had everything and then some to warm your pinoy heart. You know I'm not fond of shopping but I enjoyed browsing through the many items and merchandise in this store. I found lots of souvenirs and handicrafts here and some must-have "pasalubongs." I like to pick pasalubongs that will capture the essence of the Philippines and they have many of them here including novelty shirts, home decor items and don't forget snacks: Crispy Mushroom Chips, Banana Chips and, of course, Dried Mangoes. I also found some cool local fashion I can't wait to wear this summer. They had luggage and bag tags that come with free personalization. Made the recipients happy... Great prices because the U.S. dollar is strong ($1 = ± 56 pesos). There are plenty of employees to help if you need assistance. The best part is... they accept major credit cards which was good because I was running out of pesos LoL! Filled one luggage to capacity (22kg, almost 50 lbs which was the max allowed w/o paying excess) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Okay, that's all... happy shopping. Review #3300
