If you're a bargain hunter looking for random household goods and/or vintage toys, their auctions and sales are great

That's above MSRP, but still reasonable if you can't find them at retail. Yesterday, before making the 30-minute drive, I called again to confirm prices. I asked about Prismatic Evolutions, Pokémon 151, and Scarlet & Violet. The employee knew some of the prices himself but asked a female coworker to help with and confirm the others. I could clearly hear their conversation over the phone. Between the two of them, they quoted Prismatic Evolutions at $15 per pack, Pokémon 151 at $30 per pack, and Scarlet & Violet at $9 per pack. After confirming the prices, the employee repeated them to me, so I made the drive based on the information they gave me. When I arrived, the Scarlet & Violet packs were marked $12 each. I told them I had literally just called and was quoted $9 per pack. Instead of acknowledging that the wrong price had been given over the phone, the female employee denied that anyone had ever quoted me $9 and even claimed that no one had spoken to me on the phone. That made absolutely no sense since I had called less than 30 minutes earlier, heard the employee ask her for help confirming prices, and then heard the prices they gave me. The extra $3 per pack wasn't even the biggest issue. Mistakes happen. What bothered me was the dishonesty and refusal to simply say, "I'm sorry, we gave you the wrong price over the phone." Instead, they acted like I was making it up. To make things worse, another customer laughed and said, "The price is $12 for you, haha." Whether it was a joke or not, it made the experience even worse. What they don't realize is that if they had simply honored the quoted price--or even admitted the mistake--I was prepared to spend a couple thousand dollars that day on ETBs, booster packs, and singles. Instead, they lost a customer over $3 a pack and the way they handled the situation. It felt like a bait-and-switch. They tell you one price over the phone, charge a different price when you arrive, and then deny ever giving you the original quote or even speaking to you. Customer service and honesty go a long way, and this place showed me exactly how they treat customers. Save yourself the drive, your time, and your money. There are plenty of better card shops that deserve your business.

Kim's son handled my estate sale in St. Paul. We had some communication issues during the process,…read morebut eventually worked through them until the auction was over and Henry informed me that a mattress and sofa still remained in the garage. When I told him I thought it was in the contract that they removed all items from the house whether they sold in the auction or not he told me he would look into having the 2 items removed. Then I hear from my listing agent that Henry sent somebody into the house and they removed everything inside of it, including items that belonged to my agent that he used for staging purposes, as well as items that should have been left for the buyers like special light bulbs, paint and spare flooring. One of the items that belonged to my agent was a vintage Louis Vuitton handbag, as well as vintage designer boxes and other items. When I communicated my frustration with this to Henry, he turned me over to his mom, Kim. I had not received a receipt for the auction and asked her to send it to me. She charged me $1,700 for the unwanted removal of items, as well as $40 for my portion of the proceeds to be wired to me. When I told her I thought it was unconscionable that she was charging me for removing items that never should have been removed and would not be returned and that I was never told there would be a $40 wire transfer fee, she flippantly told me I ordered them and that was the end of the discussion. You have no recourse with this type of business transaction. You must trust the people handling your auction 100%. I would never recommend anybody doing business with Kim Teaver and Company.

They are honest, trustworthy and professional. There were no surprises The auction was professionally set up with beautiful, accurate item descriptions and i was very pleased with the final sold price on each. They had a crew of movers to empty the house, two story garage, and a large pole barn. They handled all the loading of customer purchases into their vehicles and when the dumpster did not arrive as planned, they brought the crew back on another day at no additional charge above their original estimate. They did not leave until all of the remaining unsold, unwanted items within the house and outbuildings were in the dumpster They were wonderful to work with and I highly recommend them.

What a fiasco! First, Matt is super slow to respond to your calls and messages. Second, his…read moredescriptions are WAY over the top. He described the vehicle as a #2 car! Here is his exact description of the vehicle we purchased as he describe it "all lights, turn signals, radio, wipers, heater, gauges, etc. are all in good working condition". Well the RADIO, WIPERS, CLOCK don't work! Upon arrival the car had a serious fuel leak and almost didn't start. I installed a new "real" fuel line. It had some kind of yellow plastic line. We then took off on our first adventure in the car. After 1 1/2 hours we headed home. We heard a load scraping noise. The right front wheel bearing cratered. We limped it home. We smelled gas the whole trip. We discovered the carb was leaking fuel in several areas. So we've enlisted a Ford expert to help us locate all the leaks from the engine. I replaced the front wheel bearings after 9 hours!!! Then the next day the driver door wouldn't open. I finally got it open. The engine leaks oil like a stuck pig! The car needs a "puppy pad" underneath it to catch all the leaks! The following items DON'T work as advertised!! Horn, wipers, radio, clock!!! Everyday we wake up wondering what will be wrong with the car today! But the worst part of the transaction is Matt's SLOW or NO response. I gave him a over a week to check back and see how we liked the car. CRICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We spent 40K on a car and he could care less!!!!!!! No communications. I left a voice mail about our issues 24 hours ago and no response so I'm leaving him a horrible review!!! Spending this kind of money on an unseen car is scary. I feel you CANNOT trust Matt! He told us this was a #2 car!!!!!!! Really????? His exact words in his description were "this is a rare, classic car that can be driven anywhere with no worries." Well that is a lie!!!!! 8 days later we have still not heard from Matt. We can't take the car out without worrying about what will fail next! The car won't start after driving it for over 15 minutes. Unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be warned!!!!!!!!!!! Run away from Matt and Mad Muscle Garage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
