Workers were totally competent, it's just management were completely disorganized and dishonest…read more You will have to tell them what you want over and over, and then be there to tell the workers the same thing. Be ready to be the customer and a foreman. When you talk to them, they'll promise the moon, and then do nothing, not write it down, communicate to the workers, show up, etc. Scheduling was a bit of a nightmare- and I got that there was a lot of rain this summer- but communication stunk. The end product looks nice (which solely goes to the workers), it's just the slab doesn't match what was contracted for. If you use them, expect to be there the whole time holding their hand. Most frustrating contracting experience I've had in a long time. Oh, and if you try to discuss it with the owner, he'll tell you, "well, we get good reviews" and won't try and fix anything. So here you go...

D & T gave us an estimate last year to take out two rows of trees last summer. we were told the…read morestumps would be grinders down and everything would look great. the trees were taken down but they left the stumps behind. I called them several times last year each time I was given a new excuse as to why the stumps could not be ground down. This year the stumps were sprouting new branches. I had a portion of the fence removed so they could get their grinder in the yard. Then they tried to say I had to take the entire fence down. I told them that was not a part of the deal when they bid the job they needed to get rid of the stumps regardless. he sent the guy with the grinder back and he proceeded to make a mess of my entire yard I have huge holes all over both sides of my back yard with deep trenches extending six feet beyond the trees taken out They did nothing to level the ground. When I tried to speak with him about the quality of his work he just waved at me and left .They left a huge mess! When the guys came to replace the fence they ran into more stumps on the other side that sound have been removed belonging to the trees they took out. Now I keep getting text messages about service dates when I called back to ask if they were coming back to fill I. The holes and even out the ground they said they would only return for new tree service. I am a 65 year old woman they left me a mess far too big for me to deal with and quite frankly a hazardous an dangerous yard. .

I found Larry out removing snow at a house across from my Dad, and literally ran up to him on the street asking if he would do my house. Not only is he reliable, he hand shovels my back patio, front walk way and porch. I had a family event one Saturday and asked him to come and do an extra removal of ice and lay some extra salt (he actually uses a salt alternative so it won't hurt your cement), he was there early scraping ice off my driveway. Great guy with great services!
