The service when I sat at the bar was good Initially. The server was kind and attentive during happy hour (4pm-7pm). I ordered a margatini, poutine, and boneless wings. The margatini was excellent: tasty, strong, and with a salt rim. The poutine came out first and was delivered with a hot pad and some caution. The boneless wings came out a few minutes later. The wings were cold so I pushed them aside, hoping to catch someone's attention. They sat there for ten minutes, and by then I was filling up on the poutine. I asked the bartender to remove them. The food comes from downstairs at Buzzard Billie. My final tab for happy hour entree and drink was $15.31: ridiculously great value. The rub: the bill claims that 20% of that is $4.54. I'm all for good tips reflecting good service, but that math isn't mathing! Otherwise, a good experience.

All three of us (the Mrs, my Aunt, and myself) ordered the Biertgarten Smashburgers and we split an order of the Cheese Curds. The burgers were two 4oz chuck/brisket patties, fried onion, American cheese, lettuce, pickles, and Smash Sauce served on a toasted brioche bun and is FANTASTIC! Have plenty of napkins at your disposal as the flavor oozes from this burger! The hand-cut fries are a great side and very good too (I had to add some salt to put them over the top)...the Cheese Curds made it a trifecta...they were outstanding as well, crispy coating and melt in your mouth cheesyness! The servers were very helpful and ready to help out at a moments notice. Dixie's Biertgarten Smashburger has moved on to my Top 5 Burgers I've Ever Had list...
