I am a complete idiot when it comes to the tasks of a handyman. My expertise begins and ends with a screwdriver. After buying a home a few months ago, it was crucial for me to find someone like Mike. Thank God I did. He has done all kinds of work around my house - electrical, cabinet repair, painting, light and ceiling fan hanging, shower repair, closet hanging, wall mounting, plumbing, etc, etc, etc. I couldn't be happier, and I told him he's never allowed to move.

This man came in saying he was qualified to do sheetrock repair where a tree had fell on the roof…read moreand we had lots of damage there was also the roof to be repaired which he brought somebody else in on they never finished the job and took advantage of the 70-year-old man with the beginning of Alzheimer's to get all the money out of him before the job was finished needless to say they never finished the job they kept saying they were going to so we let them do some work on the bathroom which was very small and needed to totally remodeled he left us with a brand new tub that won't hold water sheet rock dust all over everything, screws that have not been mudded or sanded seams of the sheetrock are so offset that there's no way to fix it rather than tearing everything out and starting over he just does not know what he's doing I can float out sheetrock I can hang sheetrock mud sheetrock and hand and float it out and he kept telling me because I knew construction finished. I left the bad review he notified my husband today that the remaining balance of $900 is due and it's not paid within 6 months he will see the lean against the property yet he hasn't even finished the job. I would not hire this man again and I recommend that no one else has him because he is inexperienced he has two 21 and 23 year old boys that he leaves on the job by their self and they don't know what they're doing any better than he does and he does. Oh and I forgot to mention the toilet moved from side to side it wasn't fastened down. Everyday he would tell us he would be through the next day and I would tell him there's no way you have too much to do and I would show him the repairs that he did not do right and tell him to do the rest of them right or it was not going to fly with me he ignored me so when he said the job was finished and I said no they're screws up there that haven't even been mudded you still haven't caulked the windows I pointed out to you and you said you would fix . Before he went to Lowe's I showed him that I had the bathroom faucet and a touch toe stopper for the brand new tub he said okay when he came back he had a whole faucet pack he didn't put in the strainer he didn't put in the stopper although we asked him repeatedly to he doesn't listen to his clients his customers he doesn't really care what they say and he gives you a Pity poor story about being from Haitian they're starving over there and he has nothing be careful he'll bring other people in and make money off of their money

From day one, Phil had clear and professional communication and everything he told us was spot on as far as what to expect, timeline, price, process, etc. He and Angel worked tirelessly every day arriving at 7am past 5pm to get the job done before he said he would. They were even here on Saturdays and Sundays. The quality of wattention to detail is unreal- there is not an uneven surface or crooked line in our new kitchen, which is saying a lot as our house was built in 1957, and pretty much EVERYTHING was not level in the original kitchen. Every single thing is perfect and even better than what we envisioned. They really took the time to make sure we were happy every step of the way. As far as pricing goes, this was another thing we were extremely appreciative of. Phil's price was not only more than fair, but there were no surprises along the way (We did a project with Lowe's in the past and this was NOT the case!!). He put together a thoughtful proposal at his first visit and we did not pay a dollar more once the kitchen was complete. I would recommend Phil to absolutely anyone without hesitation for their remodel or any project you may have. He and Angel were both a pleasure to work with and we can't wait to have them back to remodel our bathroom. Thank you Phil for taking the time and dedicating your efforts to make sure we love our new kitchen, we appreciate all your hard work beyond measure. Also, Phil had a wonderful painter Jose who pained the whole interior of our home in a day & it is perfect! I would definitely recommend him for any painting job you may have as well! Again, great pricing and service!
