AVOID!! This is a hospital affiliated urgent care. They charge ridiculous "new patient" fees, which means I walked out of their building having incurred a $400 bill for a 20 minute earwax removal procedure. The "new patient" or facility fee was more than twice the cost of the actual procedure. And to add insult, the person who initially tried to treat me before the doctor didn't know how the procedure was done and I had to tell her what was needed. Incompetent and overpriced. Staff was rude, doctor didn't want to be inconvenienced. We arrived a few minutes before closing. My son had a medical issue and we came straight away since we knew we could get there before 8. He was refused service because the women at the front said "you came in just before we closed and we have already seen our last patient for the day". I asked what time they stop seeing patients since they are advertised as being open until 8. She just shrugged and said I don't know that's up to the provider. Negligence. Took my son in with symptoms, doc looked in his ears, nose throat. Checked lungs. Off his assumption, without any tests whatsoever, said his symptoms will probably go away in a couple days. Fast forward few day, son in ER bc he can't breathe, temp of 104.5, and positive for flu and strep. I had bronchitis and couldn't breath. Said I was good also, def was not. Also, told me he wouldn't prescribe me meds to help me breathe bc they didn't believe in prednisone. On the up, 3 of us were in and out in under 30 min. read more

I will never recommend this location to anyone. I've had to go at different times throughout the years and have never failed to encounter rude receptionists, doctors (?), and assistants. The most recent incident involved my spouse going there for a DOT physical. His blood pressure was elevated, so the doctor issued a 3 month DOT card and instructed him to return before the card expired for another pressure check and annual card issuance. My spouse paid the entire visit fee. He returned today, and his blood pressure was normal (as instructed before the 3 months was up) to be told that he had to wait the full 3 months before a new card could be issued and that he would have to pay the entire fee a second time. The nurse, or assistant (who knows) was rude and unprofessional. This place never ceases to amaze me with their rude and incompetent workers. We found out a friend of ours we recently spent time with tested positive for Covid. Your Doc's In is listed as a Covid testing site so we went there to be tested. We were told upon arrival that if we didn't have symptoms we could not be tested. We insisted due to the fact that we are living with a pregnant female and a 96 year old and the nurse practitioner told us to "stop watching the news". She asked what a test would do for us. We told her it would tell us if we were positive, which we should know to protect others. She also told us that she does not wear an N95 mask with patients and she is fine so we are probably fine. We understand that supplies are low, however, we were not taken seriously and we were spoken to like children. We are in a pandemic and our concerns were very serious and founded. We are most upset by the fact that we were treated with disrespect and the NP's bedside manner was unprofessional and inexcusable. . read more

I got turned away yesterday because the Rude Woman at the front desk had no idea what she was doing. I had a workman's comp claim number and all of the correct info and she wouldn't even look at it. She said we can't see you here so you'll have to go to the hospital. Needless to say, she was ignorant and wrong because my company called this morning. I would award -10 stars to this terrible place based on customer service. We never actually were granted the privilege of seeing the medical staff, so for all I know they may be top notch. If you are a provider there this is not directed at you. We are on vacation and I brought my wife in for a probable broken finger. They would not see her at all because she had lost her wallet and "we are a privately owned business and policy requires a photo ID. I even had her insurance card with me from having to use it with the kids doc. The snippy lady at the desk was far more interested in policy and fraud prevention than providing care. They had absolutely no compassion, empathy, or sympathy for my wife who was in pain. There was no flexibility and no offer to find an alternate (credit card? Cash?). "We can't check her in without a photo ID". We were treated like it was our fault for not having our papers. 0 out of 0 for customer service. We finally ended up at the ER 30+ minutes away. Amazing service, no problems taking our insurance, and fantastic prompt care. One of the nurses even gave us some really good restaurant recommendations. We should have gone there first but we hate to take up an ER bed if we can help it in case there is a real emergency. read more

I needed care due to an accident with one our dogs that left me with some pretty gnarly cuts on my fingers. I figured I'd go get it checked out since it looked like a pretty deep cut on one of my fingers and something other than blood was coming out of it (tmi, oops). The women at the front desk were lovely, as well as my nurse but the doctor that saw me absolutely useless. He didn't even look at my hand and immediately prescribed me some medication and sent me on my way. No bandage, no cleaning, or anything. I then asked if he could take a look at my eczema which broke out on my opposite hand and merely glanced it and said it wasn't eczema and it scabies. I was dumbfounded because I breakout all the time on my hand, so you mean to tell me every time it happens it's scabies?! Then he prescribed me something else. THEN he had the nerve to come back in and ask what kind of dog it was and I thought he was going to do some kind of future examination of my injury but simply said "hm, never heard of it" and left. When my nurse came back in to give me a shot I asked her if I was supposed to bandage up my fingers and she was like "he didn't do that?!" As I'm writing this and reliving that whole experience I can't help but laugh at how bizarre it was. I literally left hoping my finger didnt end up falling off for the lack of medical attention I got from this guy (I'm being dramatic but it was ridiculous) Any who, lesson learned, I'll be seeing my own PCM from now on. read more

Went there today at around 6:30 pm. Was told it is a 2,2 1/2 hour wait. I said you will be closed by then she said yes. So in other words they could not see me. Thought hours were 8 till 8. If you want to get out by 8 your hours should be 8 till 6 then. New to area maybe they could of suggested other doctors office not like all well. I went down to the urgent care and was seen and back to your office by 7:30. Told the girls there are other places they could recommend instead of just nothing. I was turned away for care because they no accept my insurance. I offered to pay with a check ( out of pocket) right then but they refused. They said it is not allowed. Told me leave. Felicia Office Manager is unprofessional and has no clue what the meaning of compassion is. Urgent care means immediate assistance and instead I was told they could not provide medical care anymore to me because of my insurance. While visiting family on the Eastern Shore of VA, I broke my small toe on my left foot early in the morning. My sister-in-law recommended Your Docs In in Pocomoke, MD over the emergency room. I got there shortly after they opened and was pleased that they took my insurance from CT. They got me right in and in under 10 minutes had me in radiology for an X-ray. The break was serious but the Doc was able to give me some local pain killer and pull the bone back into position. She bound up my toe to the toes next to it and I was fitted with an orthopedic boot to keep the toe from flexing. I was out in about 20 minutes. The atmosphere is clean and bright and the staff is courteous and professional. Breaking a bone is never pleasant but Your Docs In kept my morning from getting any worse. read more

If I could give you zero stars, I would. I made an appointment on line and everything to that point was easy. I drove 30+ miles for my appointment, got there at the requested 10 minutes early to fill out any paperwork. I followed the protocol. I needed be seen for an injured finger. I didn't think it required a trip to the ER, but I wanted to get it checked out by a medical professional. I got to the counter and the receptionist and some other person told me that there was no point in seeing me since they were not doing x-rays because the person was out sick. First, you could have let me know before I left home that I couldn't get it x-rayed, and second, you could have seen me, maybe it didn't need an x-ray? I was told to go to Princess Anne, which was the next nearest location. Really? I show up and you send me away when you could have at least taken a look at my injury? Not good, people, not good at all. Maybe next time I will call before I leave home to make sure there are providers in, or maybe you just like the idea of having patients but don't really want them? Thursday, May 30th, my husband took me to Your Doc's In in Pocomoke, MD. When we arrived we were greeted right away, because there was only one other patient there. The time the receipt had on it was 5:48 and we were taken to a room almost right away. We heard doors shutting as if about what seemed like alot of other patients were being seen. Around 6:55, my husband went out of the room and asked for the location of the bathroom. The look on the nurse's face when she saw him was total surprise, as if we had been completely forgotten. The doctor immediately comes in when my husband came back. I was in alot of pain from an ear infection and that was very inconsiderate. read more

I have been at doc's Inn quite a few times due to the fact that I had double pneumonia twice. I have got to say that my experience with Your Doc in ,has got to been the best experience visiting a doctors office or hospital. Meaning from the first time I walked in there the receptionist went out of her way to help me get signed in, seeing how sick I was.. from the nursing staff to the doctors everyone was so professional so kind and so helpful. Not only that they were fast to see you, not just fast to bring you back,but to see you in a very timely matter in the room.. I live in Virginia, and it's little bit of a hike to Pocomoke but when I am sick or a family member needs medical care , this is now my first choice.. keep up the good job! read more

We were vacationing on Chincoteague at the end of August 2016, and my daughter fell in the hotel and hit her head on the sink. She had quite a goose-egg. We had called a doctor up the street from our hotel who refused to see us because they claimed they weren't equipped to evaluate for concussion (seriously?). I'm a mom, I know generally what to look for in a concussion and have even spent a few nights getting up and waking my sleeping child to ensure she was fine, but we were traveling and I needed to be sure she was ok. The staff here were absolutely amazing, so kind and helpful. The wait was short, facility was immaculate. The PA we saw was thorough and really went out of her way to ease this panicky mom's fears. She explained everything she did, that included checking for concussion and the process she did to rule out any kind of skull fracture. read more

I went in with a sore throat and complained that it felt like razorblades,and coughing.The P.A.Regina G. diagnosed me with seasonal allergies.She didn't do a throat culture or look down my throat.My family all came down with the same symptons that I had.My husband took our son to docs in and the dr.he saw immediately diagnosed him and prescribed him antibiotics.I went in the following day and had the same P.A. she again told me it was just allergies. I told her my son got antibiotics and was feeling better.She reluctantly gave me and my husband a prescription for z-pak.I felt better the next day.Im mad with myself for trusting her and suffering with strepp for a week. I think she stamps seasonal allergies on everyone that walks in without listening to her patients.I will avoid her . read more

My overall visit was great, but at the end of my visit the doctor said "Im so glad you werent here for more vicodin"... This statement thru me back a bit because 1. Office manager nice enough. Nurse great. But the DO!!! Recommended that I go without a bra since I can't reach around to fasten it because of a shoulder injury! Went there with a work injury and he(DO) said I could do light duty on my job. I am a custodian. Because of restrictions due to injury, I cannot bend from the waist nor can I lift anything. Pray tell me what I could do! And of course the insurance company has to comply with his recommendations. Also I cannot comb my hair nor can I tie my shoes but I am expected to work! The doctor and nurses were extremely efficient, helpful and professional. I felt like we received top notch medical care. The front desk staffer that I had to deal with was extremely unprofessional. I needed to bring my daughter here while on vacation and had an issue with insurance ( my plan had a new number, which I had, but no physical card was with me, this is because it went into effect while I was away) instead of her calling the insurance co & verifying, which she SHOULD have done, I had to do it instead of being able to comfort my daughter who was in excruciating pain. I asked for assistance and she refused. This worker just sat there & watched instead of assisting me. I had to demand my daughter be seen & pay the $100.00 office fee out of pocket while I spoke with the insurance company who told me & her that she should be the one calling to verify. Finally by the end of my 40 min visit the doctor stepped in and told her to run the number & miraculously it was covered. I was beyond angry that I wasn't able to comfort my 6 year old during her time of pain. This worker should NOT be working at this type of place. The doctors were outstanding! read more
