I am so sorry to have to post this but I have been going here for about two years. My lashes always…read morelook amazing when I get her but the huge problem is she is just not dependable. I will have a scheduled appointment and arrive and the door is locked, nobody is there. I will call several time. She will not answer but finally text and ask me to drive all the way to her house. That has happened so many times. Other times she would say can I come back another day, this happened several times. Then she start say she was in a car accident; this happed about 5 or 6 times; I am surprise she can still walk. When I do get an appointment in with her, I do not see any signs of her being in an accident. She will go so far as to send me photos of some random car accident. Just not reliable or committed to her customers or her business. She is extremely sweet and nice. She does very very very good work if you can get her to actually do your lashes. After this last disappointment when I depended on her to do my lashes again for a very special event only for her to tell me via text to come the next day, I had to find another place for an emergency appointment. Prior to this appointment, I had been texting her a week in advance as a reminder, I texted almost everyday and she did not even have the courtesy to call or text me back. She decided to text me 2 hours after my scheduled appointment to say come the next day. This was my very last straw. Stick a fork in me because I am done. I tried to work with her but enough is enough. Let's pray for her that she becomes committed to her customers and business.

Not to mention the front reception who can't even do his job of checking to see how much longer until Vicky will be seeing me. He just continued to have me wait while he watched videos on his phone. MBN getting paid watching videos all day. He finally goes and checks on her and I watched him. He gives me absolutely nothing while walking back to his chair. And I heard him ask her is she ready for me. But he comes back and says NOTHING. Who on earth treats clients like this? Learn some customer service will you? Came in for a refill 2 weeks later with L eye barely having anything left. And mind you, I know how to keep lash extensions and this is definitely not my first rodeo. My refill didn't even last a whole week and I literally cannot justify spending money here for terrible quality lash glue that they're using!!! Lastly, I mentioned to Vicky the owner how she did both my friend and sister wrong and explained that I had recommended her bc I thought her work was great! I told her it's not cool that my sister booked with her and she had a different lash artist work on my sister for the first time visit. My sister called and told me she didn't like her lashes and it was two completely diff style. Later, my friend booked but wasn't informed that Monday they're closed. She waited outside and mind you, she got a confirmation text for her appointment. Well, it never happened. She also did not have a response after reaching out to her regarding the two incidents. She just literally left me on "read". Very profession! Sike! Vicky clearly doesn't know how to run a business nor care about losing clients. I've been coming to her for over a year and definitely felt like I was going to stick around. Overtime now, I just feel like she can care less about quality, and at this point she can get more appointments in by controlling everyone else's time, and using cheap lash glue. I say cheap bc the lashes fall off my natural lash. Though her artists wanna claim it's bc it's shedding season. Please! My natural lashes were not even stuck on the extensions. DO BETTER!

I was first impressed with how clean and professional their social media page was displayed. Most pages I previously found with the same hashtags always seemed to be missing information that I needed to make an informed decision when booking services. There was either not enough pictures of their work, unclear on services offered and how to book, or the posts were unorganized and looked very "spammy" on the page. However, this was not the case with AOF. The page was VERY clean and professional. They included BEFORE and AFTER photos of each client they performed services on. Each photo included a description of what the client booked, and the price. This made the booking process EXTREMELY user friendly because you did not have to guess which service to select. I also love that they show clients ranging in age and various skin tones, to have an idea of how things will look on you. The other major difference that set them apart was the booking process. The link for booking was included in the bio at the top of the page, with deposit instructions stated clearly, as well as, after care instructions for the Ombré Brows. This showed me they really prioritize the customer's health and safety. When arriving to my appointment, I was pleasantly surprised with decor of the suite and the ambiance that it created in the service and waiting areas. Update: 10 months later and I've had to spend a twice as much to get a brow cover up by a proper,…read morereputable artist. It's not a matter of touch-up, this needed cover up, colour correcting, and took two sessions to fix. The issue is that MK Brows simply don't know what they are doing. On their dominant hand they pressed too hard which resulted in one very dark brow (& healing was much more painful). On the other side they were reaching across and did the tattoo too light and much of it didn't take, hence I have one light brow and one dark. Reputable tattoo artists know this and accommodate for it. As I left the salon, my brows looked so uneven I had to ask for correction, which was done by tattooing a skin-colour pigment over her previous work. It looks like a scar under my brow and only tattoo removal could properly correct it.
