Quite frankly this is THE place to buy your nearly new/used cars because as everyone else has said Andrew is a 100% decent guy, and both incredibly professional, accommodating, and an absolute pleasure to deal with! . I happened to see the perfect Vauxhall Insignia advertised on his website, which unfortunately had literally just been sold, & so Andrew said he'd see if he can find another & within 1hour he'd found exactly the same one, but with an even better spec for the same price! (I'd been looking on Autotrader for weeks!) And so I was the proud owner of the car which Andrew gave a full service & valet etc within a week or so, and traded my car in at the same time which also made things much easier for me. Plus essentially the deal we done was excellent (Andrew's clearly happy trading with smaller margins than most which is great!) Btw he also even valued my old car via email! (which really saved the pressure of the old face-to-face 'haggling' process you normally have to endure) and which he honored.The other main point I'd like to mention to anybody thinking of buying privately (or from another trader) is that as I have done, you have the 'option' to buy either/or the Black Horse GAP insurance, or to 'extend the warranty' beyond that of the manufacturers (I did for the additional full 3 years, giving me nearly 5 years cover) which pretty much covers anything major, & this is well worth it not only because Andrew sells it at a fraction of what the dealers do! but also I had a very bad experience with my AUDI; basically complete engine failure! just out of warranty!! (note; ALL '05-'08 2.0TDI's! & pls look up 'balance shaft'!) which unfortunately cost an arm & a leg, and this type of cover would have obviously covered such painful expense. So it's well worth paying that extra bit, esp that the option is there.Also Andrew kindly sorted me out as he promised, a 2nd key (which happened to be missing) with my local Vauxhall dealer so all I had to do was drop the car in so he even made that an easy process all part of his faultless professional service level. And I must say a level of 'genuine' service I never experienced with AUDI either!Anyway its nearly been 3months since I bought the car & I have to say its not only been the best car I've ever bought, it definitely been the best 'thing' I've ever bought! and without doubt the best service as well..If only every car dealership (& all businesses in general!) had the same ethos, & conscientious attitude that Andrew has at YourBestCar!!! read more

I had been looking for a BMW 330d M Sport Convertible for some time, and due to the limited nature of this make (within my budget) I had to look 'far and wide' for it. Therefore once I had found one with the right 'spec' and 'within the right price' I had to be sure it was worth the long journey (from Devon to Cranbrook) before setting off. I contacted 'Andrew' and was amazed at the lengths he was prepared to go to explain every detail of the car so that I could travel in confidence. I set off from Devon and was contacted by 'Harry' as I would be dealing with him once I arrived. I explained that I was going to look for somewhere to stay overnight with my new wife (of two days) after seeing the car. Harry then contacted an excellent hotel for us and made all the reservations for me. I arrived to find the car in absolutely gleaming order, every 'nook and cranny' was cleaned (thanks to Charlie). I looked over the car and then took it for an extensive test drive. Harry looked over my 'part ex' and we agreed a deal. As we didn't know the way to the hotel, Harry escorted us to it. We checked in only to discover that Harry and Andrew had bought a bottle of Champagne for us in celebration of our wedding. We returned the next day to exchanged cars to find the new car had once again been cleaned through (thanks again Charlie) and all the paperwork (including new number plates for the private reg) had been done. As a service I can't fault the guys. I would recommend the service, quality of car, the friendliness of the staff (the target commission for the car between Andrew and Harry is an intersesting one) and their efficiency. About one month ago I was driving through Cranbrook and saw a lovely white Vauxhall Insignia VXLine on the front of the forecourt and it immediately jumped out at me so I had to turn around and go and have a look. I was looking around the car and out came a gentleman offering me to open the car up and show me all around the car. I explained to him that I would not be making a decision today and unlike most car salesman who would stop bothering, he was over and beyond helpful knowing the answers to my questions immediately and to the extent of sitting me in the seat and adjusting it until it was perfect for me to take on a drive. Shortly after the test drive I was in love with the car so we went to talk 'figures' and Harry talked me through all of the finance options available and the ones that would suit me most. I am usually quite skeptical about being sold finance and insurances but with Harry and Andrew I felt completely at ease having been explained everything in great detail. On collection of my car I was bowled over, the car had been valeted inside and out, it was inside being protected from the aweful weather, having been given its MAJOR service and not just an oil change and to top it off there was a generous amount of diesel put in the tank for me. They even had delt with all of my personalised number plate transfer for me. Taking all the hastle out of that was priceless! For me Your Best Car can be summed up in two words 'Personal Touch.' You feel like you are sitting in your front room with a family member rather than on the other side of the desk being sold, sold, sold to. I recently bought (Yesterday) a Vauxhall Insignia SRI VXLine from Your Best Car. Having to renew my car every three years I struggle with being hassled and do not look forward to the experience. I originally went to two Vauxhall main dealers where the service is supposed to be a notch above the rest and to say the experience was rubbish was an understatement (Vauxhall, if you say you will ring back then do it and do not sell a car that I have arranged a test drive for 2 hours before I arrived at our appointed time). So, then I went to Your Best Car, Harry and Andrew were perfect, regular contact, confirmed appointments, good test drive and very very polite (please forgive Harry for being a West Ham Fan). The whole experience was relaxing, informal but at the same time very professional. I cannot express enough how impressed I was with all aspects of their service, If anyone wants to learn what customer service is meant to look like then this is the place to go. I was torn between two cars and Harry suggested I close my eyes and imagined myself on the sofa at home and what ever car i pictured on my driveway was the one I really wanted, so out went the fuel efficient cheap road tax Ford Focus and in came the beast of a Vauxhall, Harry was right! I would have lost interest in the Focus within a month and I love the Vauxhall. I would not hesitate in recommending them to family, friends or anyone reading this review. I am still smiling while writing this review, I am that happy with the experience. My best car! A week into life with my BMW 118d M Sport from Your Best Car, and I have to say, it is MY best car yet. The experience of buying from YBC was very good. After checking Autotrader, I stumbled upon the car, with the right spec at the right price. On reading other Qype reviews, I was confident a deal could be on even though we are 180 miles apart. I spoke with Andrew over the phone, who answered initial questions, and gave a very honest and accurate description of the car. Andrew also gave a part exchange valuation over the phone, and helped work out a deal which was honoured once YBC saw my car. I found this garage via autotrader as they had a ford focus titanium that had caught my eye, and seemed competitively priced. As I am not from the area I was concerned about having to travel a 4 hour round trip to look at the car from an unknown garage. I phoned the garage up and Harry gave me a part x price for my car and also offered advice on the phone without any pressure whatsoever. We'd just pulled out of buying a nearly new Vauxhall Zafira from a car supermarket as we felt we were being misled. We then came accross Your Best Car and spoke to Andrew the owner. He was refreshingly honest about his cars and told me which car he thought would be best for me as well as any faults there were on them. I explained to Andrew that I'd have to get a train from Ascot, Berkshire all the way over to Kent and he made arrangements to collect me from Staplehurst station. We bought a fabulous Ford Galaxy recently from Andrew which we imported to Ireland. We have had it for one month so far and it has been a pleasure to drive. The car itself is in excellent condition. I had an RAC check carried out which confirmed everything Andrew had told me about the car. I was made aware of the car's service history , hpi check, previous owner. All information was given up front. We were very satisfied with the communication Andrew provided. He kept in touch with emails and by phone. He took additional photos and emailed them. It took me quite a few weeks to get the car over to Ireland and Andrew was very helpful in this regard. He was most helpful to the delivery agent who collected the car by having all documents ready and available. The RAC engineer was also satisfied with the garage. Was in 2 minds if I really wanted to go so far to look at a car. I'm glad i decided to go :) I met the sales rep Harry Bryant, who was already waiting for me with the car i wanted to drive ready. I was offered a drink, which to date no other dealership offered. :)) I felt really relaxed and at peace. I test drove teh car for a few miles, and only turned around to head back to dealership as i wanted. Harry was happy with me driving till i was fully satisfied. Back at the office, I was explained in detail everything i needed t oknow about the car, did a little haggling ;) I left a deposit. Harry offered to drive the car to me during the coming week, but I was happy to make the trip back to the delaership and drive it back myself. From start to finish, the experience was 10/10. I recently bought a Ford Galaxy from this dealer and like the other reviewers was thorughly pleased with the whole experience. When I went to view the car it was well presented and ready to go for a test drive. Harry was helpful and not in any way pushy (Which works for me), and was able to quickly provide all the infomration we needed.
