I bought hair dye at a grocery store and the light brown hair turned into.... red-ish orange-ish not-so-sure-what-color-it-is color, it was disgusting to say the least. I had a huge family reunion to go to that night so I was running out of options. I came here, and although it's not the biggest establishment, it has a lot of options available. They also have hair treatments which saved my orange hair. The girls that work here are very helpful and they can point you to the right direction. Customer service was great. The shop is very small but has splashes of color to accent its vibe inside. There were 2 male workers inside and 1 shop girl who attended to me. No one spoke English so fortunately with my poquito espagnol, we were able to communicate fairly decently to purchase what I needed... Fresh Moracan Lipstick... the very last one in the store! She quoted me $15 USD so I pulled out 3 5 dollar bills and handed it to her. When she rang me up, I was pleasantly surprised because it actually rang up being 252.92 in Mexican pesos with the exchange rate of 18 for the day and $13.44 USD so she gave me back a dollar and two quarters. They didn't have nickels dimes or pennies so I had to take the hit of 6 cents! Womp womp womp! But I left happy since that saved me about $5 or so more than if I purchased it in the US. The curiously confusing aspect of the transaction however was the receipt! SEARS!!! Did Sears buy out MAC and keep it a secret in the US? Anyway, it's a cute MAC store with cute MAC products. The store is inviting, clean and nice to shop in. The attendants were all very nice, helpful and welcoming. I was the only one in the shop so I had the attention of ALL the workers. Didn't bother me. I'm not a thief. I handle my business professionally and efficiently so if you don't mind that, i can't wait to come back to shop for more. I'm not sure if they do makeovers and such as I only saw cosmetics for sale on two cabinet display tables. They are open every day from 11am-9am. Parking is available in the huge mall garage of Galerias Hipódromo. As Arnold said famously in THE TERMINATOR... "I'll be back!"

Then I went to work for MAC cosmetics for 10 years and got a ton of free swag so I stopped coming. My niece has since inherited a majority of my collection. They also carry perfumes as well as several other makeup and skincare lines. Now that I'm older, I'm using "old lady" foundation (as my niece calls it) from Estee Lauder that costs more than what I want to spend. Little bish, you wished you looked like this "old lady" when you turn my age. But I digress. I completely forgot they carried my Double Wear so you better believe I stocked up on my shade while I was there. It usually runs $42 before tax and I only paid around $36 with tax. Service was ok.They could stand to be a bit friendlier but honestly, I just wanted my discounted foundation so that wasn't a real issue. I mentioned to the girl at the register that I was thrilled to save $8 off compared to buying it at Nordstrom and she goes "Right? People think we're still overpriced so I'm glad to hear that." Definitely my go-to store when I need to replenish my Estee. Me love discounts long time.
