I am always worried about how to pose in photos and not look weird, but she does a great job directing you into different poses so you don't look awkward and have a good variety of pictures (and she was even able to get my husband who dreads photo shoots to relax and have fun with it). I will definitely be having her do any other photo shoots I need!

I am beyond impressed with our maternity photos from Taylor Catherine Photography. I was initially…read moreapprehensive of taking maternity photos; however, Taylor perfectly captured the anticipation and longing of pregnancy as well as the fleeting emotional moments between a mother and her child. Taylor had all three of us smiling for the entire session and kept our one-year-old entertained despite the 100 plus degree heat. She is professional and welcoming and somehow manages to juggle shooting on both film and digital cameras. I could not have imagined a more positive experience, and my family will cherish these memories for years to come. If you are searching for maternity, newborn, or family photos in the DFW area, Taylor Catherine Photography will beautifully document your life.

I take a lot of pictures. I am not trained, but I have a pretty good eye, and I like to document…read morethe life of our newborn baby. A. Lot. I think I do pretty well, actually, and our little girl will have a lot of fun photos to look back on when she's older and say, "Thanks, Pop!" And then Taylor comes over because my wife tells me it's de rigueur to have professional photos of your baby. Whatever. Fine. Either photography has come a long way since the days of the retarded 'professional' photos I took every time I graduated from something, or I've just been locked into an Instagram bubble for so long and haven't seen an amazing picture larger than 1" x 1" in a long time. Either way (both statements are true, by the way), Taylor freaking blows it all out of the park. Her attention to light, color, dimension . . . incredible. I love it all. And now my pictures pale in comparison. Embarrassing, really. But I am completely grateful for Taylor's photos, and you can be sure her pictures will be the ones I use on the cover of the baby's photo albums, because I could pick Apple Annie over Martha Stewart and Justin Bieber over Adele, but then I would be dumb. Pick Taylor, people. Pick Taylor.

Her very, very reasonable session fee includes a CD with the edited photos separated by color and black and white and recommendations on where to print (but you can print or do whatever you like with the photos). She has tons of props, backgrounds, hats, wraps, headbands, baskets, etc. She even had a fishing pole and hat - my husband loved that. :) You can just show up with your baby, and she'll make the magic happen. Her studio is kept warm and she uses a heating pad on surfaces so your little one will pose and be happy. She doesn't rush you at all; I had time to feed Nova - and even pump since we're on preemie triple feedings. She also has beverages and snacks for parents. Besides the fact that our pictures are perfection, Paige is incredibly awesome to work with. Our daughter was born a month early so we hadn't planned any newborn pictures. She was able to squeeze us in on short notice and finished editing the photos in a couple days. She even hand delivered them to us because she was in our neighborhood. We will definitely use Paige Rance photography for our next baby photos. If you are looking for a newborn, children, or family photographer, you will be thrilled with Paige. We couldn't be happier with our newborn pictures!

She definitely tailored the experience to our needs and I could not recommend her more. We will be reaching out to her again next time ;)
