I am beyond impressed with our maternity photos from Taylor Catherine Photography. I was initially…read moreapprehensive of taking maternity photos; however, Taylor perfectly captured the anticipation and longing of pregnancy as well as the fleeting emotional moments between a mother and her child. Taylor had all three of us smiling for the entire session and kept our one-year-old entertained despite the 100 plus degree heat. She is professional and welcoming and somehow manages to juggle shooting on both film and digital cameras. I could not have imagined a more positive experience, and my family will cherish these memories for years to come. I think I do pretty well, actually, and our little girl will have a lot of fun photos to look back on when she's older and say, "Thanks, Pop!" And then Taylor comes over because my wife tells me it's de rigueur to have professional photos of your baby. Whatever. Fine. Either photography has come a long way since the days of the retarded 'professional' photos I took every time I graduated from something, or I've just been locked into an Instagram bubble for so long and haven't seen an amazing picture larger than 1" x 1" in a long time. Either way (both statements are true, by the way), Taylor freaking blows it all out of the park. Her attention to light, color, dimension . . . incredible. I love it all. And now my pictures pale in comparison. Embarrassing, really. But I am completely grateful for Taylor's photos, and you can be sure her pictures will be the ones I use on the cover of the baby's photo albums, because I could pick Apple Annie over Martha Stewart and Justin Bieber over Adele, but then I would be dumb. Pick Taylor, people. Pick Taylor.

After seeing the photos that Aven Willow does, I knew that was exactly what I needed. I spoke with the photographer and owner, Jodie Jolly, and she explained the process. They do hair and makeup in her Downtown McKinney studio, which is in a cool, historic building. She recommended I bring 3 outfits and we discussed the color scheme. On the day of photos, I was really nervous. Jodie made me feel so relaxed and guided me through the poses and facial expressions. She played fun music in the background to set the mood and I felt so much more comfortable as we got to the second half of shooting. She takes her time, makes sure she got the right shots to get your message & speak to your brand. She scheduled the reveal for the following week. We met at her studio and she showed me the slideshow of the pictures. I was blown away at how fabulous they turned out. Before I went in, I was only going to buy 3 pictures, but I feel in love with too many and bought 10! This was such a fantastic experience and I would absolutely do it again the next time I need new branding photos. Aven Willow exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend you trying them out!

When my two friends and I signed up for her 40 over 40 experience we had high hopes for a once in a lifetime experience. And in September 2023 the session was just that. We happily paid a hefty sum for a large Portrait package with a lovely storage box included. After waiting months while being told that we were waiting on the box, we asked for the portraits and to receive the box when she received delivery of her shipment. I went by her studio and picked up the portraits. The portraits I was given appeared to be the ones that she had displayed at our "Reveal " saying they were samples when we made our selections. After many inquiries followed by excuses, she sent an email with a link to all of the original digital files, saying compensation for our patience. To date, we still have not received the box and my messages to her business, and to her personally, have been ignored. I feel obligated now to let others know that Jodie is a talented photographer with great sales skills who will take a hefty sum from your pocketbook and not deliver on promises. Oh, and that 40 over 40 book and the party to celebrate she promised? Beware! That never happens either. It's been 10 months now and sadly she continues to promote her business in the same fashion and is now ghosting us. Thank you Jodie Signed Three Very Disappointed Senior Ladies

Safe to say I was super nervous as I'd never done anything like this before. Anya suggested we meet casually for coffee before the photo session which helped so much. We discussed the style I was looking for, how I needed to prepare and all the details in between. Getting comfortable with your photographer before the shoot is a fabulous idea, especially when the shoot is something out of your comfort zone. At the photo session Anya was really supportive and encouraging - she guided me through everything and kept the mood lighthearted. I actually had sore cheeks afterwards from laughing so much! Anya was sweet, energetic and full of creative ideas which put me totally at ease. On top of that, I absolutely LOVE the photos (and my husband does too)! They are more than I could have ever imagined, and Anya perfectly captured how confident and relaxed I felt during the session. Anya went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience. I wish every woman would do this to see how beautiful they are - the most empowering experience. I would absolutely recommend Artfitnessflow!!
