They told me they would start July 4, they began 2 days later. I waited around all day for them to show and I didn't even get a phone call. I figured they wouldn't show up on a holiday but you shouldn't tell a client you will if you aren't going to keep your word. I could have went somewhere fun with my kids instead. They do NOT keep you in the loop unless you press them. That is terribly frustrating when parts of your renovation are centered around the electrical work. The owner will press you for the money though. Dude followed me to the ATM to get the 60% deposit then demanded the rest before the final inspection was even completed. It took a while to get all the work done. The outlet box was fitted improperly so my husband had to fix it so there wouldn't be a huge gap between the cover and the drywall. I told the owner and he tried to blame it on my house's framing. Funny that the outlet directly above is laying flat and it's attached to the same stud. I might be female but I grew up helping my Dad do maintience work on a historic hotel. I KNOW electrical, plumbing, light construction, and car repair. You can't BS this chick. Personally I felt they should had been the ones to redo the outlet box and drywall but at this point I was done dealing with them. Then came the final inspection...we failed. They managed to wire up a basic GFCI outlet wrong. They came back out and fixed it and we passed. I am still however waiting for the main line into my home from the service pole to be switched by the energy company. I haven't heard from them in a week so I don't even know if they notified them or not. I would recommend them especially if your project is on a tight budget like mine but if it's time sensitive then you may want to reconsider.

I called Hunter's Electrical Service at the recommendation of a friend. I took the day off not sure if this was an estimate or he could do the work. He inspected the wires, and made recommendations . Melvin, the plumber, was on his way to another job, but he stopped by within a few minutes to turn off and secure the WH. He made an appointment for the next morning, and arrived on time with a new WH (the old one was rusted out). He spent over 5 hours, installed the new WH, new pipes, and new pressure tank. He even found and cleared the cellar gravity drain, which had not been cleared for at least 28 years. The workmanship was superb, his attitude was very helpful, and the price was more than reasonable. I'll definitely call them for any plumbing repair in the future.
