She was really attentive and supportive during the whole process and our photos turned out *amazing.* She got all of our best moments and took great photos of details and moments I hadn't even thought note worthy until I saw them later. Other than the venue (we got married at a summercamp), hiring Traci was the best decision we made regarding that event.

Her work has a style, beauty, and creativity that is hard to put words to. We didn't have a videographer, so our wedding photography was all that much more crucial. She took the time to speak with us several times leading up to the events so she really got to know us and what was important to us. She made sure our photos had elements special to us as a couple and were not just generic pictures. Traci is kind and great to work with, but she can command and wrangle a distracted group. She kept all our friends and family in line but smiling, so we got all the important posed and candid shots we could ever have hoped for. Everyone had so much fun with Traci's special version of a photo booth. The pictures came out so funny and cute. My uncle pass away recently, and the photo of him smiling big while I put a princess crown on his head in the photo booth at our wedding is an endlessly precious image. I am so grateful to have that little moment in time and so many others from that day captured forever. Working with Traci was easily the best investment we made. Our beautiful wedding photos are so important to us and our family.

3 reviews 2 minutes…read moreago I "won" a boudiar package at a bridal show and decided to do the shoot. I had the option to upgrade, but told the employee I scheduled with, a few months before the shoot, that I wouldn't upgrade. I was straight forward with the employee. I was told no worries to come do the shoot. So I scheduled and was excited. Upon arrival, I was hounded to upgrade and mocked for not upgrading. I was told I "would regret" not upgrading to another package and that they had never had anyone not buy a package. Chris, the photgrapher, went from being polite when I was a paying/upgrading customer, to rude and pushy when I adimitly stated that I would not be upgrading my package. I decided to continue becuase I had a $75 deposit that was riding on me staying. So I stayed. The pictures took 15 mins instead of the hour that I was told I won. I was told in email that I would get my money back, abiding by I showed up and did the shoot. At the end, I was informed that I wasn't getting my money back becuase they would never do my shoot on a Saturday. Again being told how out of the norm everything was and that they were going out of their way to accomindate someone who wasn't buying a package. I demanded the return of my money and was told becuase of the email that I had, that stated I would be getting my money back, I would get my money back. The whole experince was awful and I will never come back here again. Brides if you "win a package" don't do it. It's bad sales gimic as prices aren't explained until you arrive and it's a sticker shock. I am not in anyway shape or form saying that their prices are too high. I'm saying that if you don't research costs associated with boudiar sessions or have never considered or thought about doing this, it'll make the experience that much more uncomfortable. I thought this would be something fun and free, considering I'm spending so much on our wedding and was told I won a free session, for my fiancé and instead turned into a shaming fest and battle. Don't come here thinking you won a "free package". The only thing that is free is the shame you feel leaving because you didn't upgrade your package.

Not up to expectations. I went in for a business head shot and specifically stated I did not want…read moreto be overly photoshopped. He said I will simply look like I do on my best day. I got the pictures back and went from my 50s to my 20s - NOT what I wanted. He even removed my mole which is part of me. I don't want to be unrecognizable from my picture when I walk in the room for an interview or speaking engagement. To top it off, I still had time left on my photoshoot when the next customer walked in. She was invited into the same room as I was while posing for my shots, and it made me uncomfortable to have an audience. I will not go to this photographer again. BTW the review incorrectly shows me as San Francisco, CA. I am in Concord, NC. I cannot correct this so I am not sure why it is doing that.

When we have pictures take of our family, it's because we want to capture those moments of our daughters growing up. I wouldn't want to waste that on amateur photographers. But not only has Chris been doing our photos, but he has been doing digital art for my business. Flyers, ads, etc. I'll contact Chris, tell him what I'm thinking and he always knocks it out of the park. By far, Chris is awesome at what he does.

We booked the Easter special with Christopher Lee Studio in Lexington, NC on 4/18/2014. Our…read moresession was set to begin at 5:00PM. When we arrived at the studio, Christopher and his girlfriend were finishing up the session before us. We watched them interact with the family, and generally try to get good pictures. Our session started almost 20 minutes late. Once the other family had left, Christopher disappeared to the back of the studio, to a separate room. His girlfriend, Hannah, sat down on the floor with the camera and proceeded to take pictures of my children. She never introduced herself, didn't attempt to pose them, didn't ask their names, or ages. She made a few half hearted attempts at getting them to smile. My children are 3 and 1. They don't just take direction like an adult would. After several minutes of this, she got up and went to the other room, where I could hear her tell Christopher that she needed his help in getting my daughter to smile. I did not hear his reply, but he didn't come out. She returned and spent several more minutes with the same techniques that clearly weren't working before. She appeared disinterested, frustrated and bored. I quickly became frustrated and asked why he wasn't out there with her. She went to get him, he came out and said that they switch off. When I asked why both were working with the family before us, he got an attitude and offered my deposit back. We left the studio empty handed after driving 54 miles round trip. I was unable to obtain another appointment with another company for pre-Easter pictures so close to the holiday. Christopher and I exchanged several messages via email where he became increasingly hostile towards me. When I tried to make a comment on his facebook page regarding my experience, it was deleted and I was blocked. I then made another comment from a different profile and that was blocked as well. In the ensuing aftermath, he has made several derogatory comments regarding the "type of people" we are, used foul language towards us, and told us to "get a life". He did finally email me the proofs from the session. Out of 85 pictures, there isn't a single one worth purchasing. Several of the shots are shown with one child half out of the picture, none of them are showing my children posed with both smiling, and the lighting is bad in several. I would highly recommend booking elsewhere, not only for the quality of your portraits, but the overall experience. Extremely unprofessional.
