My daughter has been a student at Young Brothers TKD for over a year and I couldn't be happier. When Gemma started here she was an obnoxious 5yr old, she would hit, yell, blatantly not listen, and she really didn't care; all of this stemmed from some unfortunate traumas. My daughters TKD training has taught her to be disciplined, respectful, and recognized as one of the most well behaved kids in her entire school. Throughout Gemma's time at Young Brothers she has had countless injuries (none of which were caused by TKD) and they have encouraged her to persevere with modified exercise to prevent further injury.
My daughter got a concussion due to a fall and her neurologist (for CPRS and the concussion), pediatrician, and orthopedic all recommended for her to continue TKD with modification. EVERY Master who has taught Gemma throughout her injuries has respected her limits, taught her to protect herself, and to do what she can all while she continues to learn. I drive 25m each way twice a week to take Gemma to Young Brothers and I wouldn't change it; if you want the best you have to pursue the best. I'm proud of my daughter for being a student at Young Brothers and I couldn't imagine her anywhere else. read more
