We came straight the mountain after our Bosphorus ferry tour drop off on a Monday in May, getting there around 12.30 pm. We got first choice in the large section closest to the ocean (the restaurant section - the other section with a single row of tables closer to the kitchens and indoor area are the cafe, where you don't have to order food). It got about 2/3 full between 1:00 and 2:00 pm.
Lunch for two was 80 TL including tips. It cost 1 TL to use the restroom.
Service was fine until the lunch rush. With one server and one busboy during one huge lunch rush, it took us maybe 20-30 minutes just to get our two coffees.
They were out of about half the stuff on the menu (seemingly everything we originally wanted to order). Look for the written prices under the dishes - if there's a dash, it means it's not available.
Our server gave pretty good recs, telling us which fish were "factory" (farmed?) and which were caught fresh. We got the only fresh one, plus the mussels. Both were pretty small plates but they tasted pretty good. The coffee was actually really tasty. See my photos for more details.
Overall, probably the restaurant with the best view, but it's so pricey (and not so amazing for the high cost), the menu is so limited with half the items unavailable, and the service is slow. read more
