We are Triumph and Honda specialists but we also offer a full range of services for all makes and models of motorcycle. From MOT's to servicing and repairs, we've got you covered.
Our fully equipped workshop has a comprehensive range of genuine and non-genuine parts, and we work to the customer's preference. We also use the latest 'texa' diagnostic software to accurately identify codes and extinguish service lights for all makes and models. Each job is priced individually and an accurate quote is always given.
History
Established in 2016.
York Motorbikes was established in 2016 by owner Dave Jeffrey. A highly experienced technician, Dave has been in the trade for over 30 years .
Meet the Business Owner: Dave J.
I first stepped into a motorcycle workshop in 1990 at the age of 15 as work experience and have now been in the same trade for 28 years!!
Trained as an apprentice motorcycle tec from the age of 16 studying at college until the age of 20 and leaving having taken 13 exams resulting in distinction and credit pass marks thus becoming a fully trained time served motorcycle tec at the age of 20.
Over the last 22 years I have worked for a Yamaha main dealer and a triumph main dealer as workshop manager (10 years) I have also worked part-time for Honda UK race team for three years at the Isle of Mann TT prepping race bikes.
I have extensive and up to date diagnostic equipment and an up to date modern workshop.
I have extensive knowledge of all makes and models of motorcycles; Japanese, Italian and British.
I have in the past studied motorcycle security becoming an approved installer for Datatool and tracker amongst other brands.
