You check in on the 1st floor take stairs or elevator up, sit and wait to be called. The person behind the desk on the 2nd floor does not interact with you. You're placed in a room connected to an EKG and walk briskly on a treadmill at different speeds and inclines. Not a bad experience

They are affiliated with University of Maryland Hospital, so this group provides the excellent care you would expect from going to a university medical center. My husband is a retired physician and we travel all the way from Washington, DC to see the doctors in this practice because they are exceptional. He received an electrophysiology procedure that was completely successful. In 2025, practice has changed its name to University of Maryland Heart Associates at Madison Park.

During my first(and last) visit the doctor prescribed a new drug for my cholesterol. I had an…read moreimmediate negative reaction to the drug and reported same. The drug had effected my hip joints. The reaction by the doctor was lackadaisical, at best, and no advice was offered. After two weeks and no reduction the negative result I consulted a hip specialist who confirmed that there was no indication of any joint degeneration. It was five to six weeks before the negative result subsided. This past week I called the office to cancel a scheduled appointment and was put on hold for eleven minutes before someone actually answered.
