Dr Barry was very kind and explained to me all my options as plainly as possible and explained what the pros and cons were for each. We decided on a basic out patient surgery. I must admit that i was sure that my finger would ever look like a finger again. 3 months after the surgery and my finger looks amazing. Well, my well planned virtual visit, easily scheduled in person meeting for sizing, and my pre-op appointment for marking were professional, thorough, and left me feeling like I was in the most capable hands. Anna, his medical assistant, is so kind and reassuring. She does an amazing job of making sure all is running smoothly for each appointment and answered any questions that I had. The front desk staff are kind, helpful, and make the most of your time. The rooms are private, clean and comfortable. I met a medical student at my initial appointment, as well as two others during my marking appointment. Dr. Hammond made made so many notes on exactly how he was going to perform my surgery, that even I was impressed by his level of detail and felt very important. And yet another plastic surgeon was in my surgery, learning from the master! I found out afterward that Dr. Hammond had taken extra time to ensure my results were what he had promised. I got to see video from my procedure directly post-op, and he spoke with my husband and I about the entire decision process. I admit that I was a little doubtful that his SAFE augmentation protocol could really leave me almost painless, able to return to normal activity the next day. I expected to be unable to raise my arms, hug my family, or even pull up my hair on my own. I am happy to admit, I was wrong! My family kept having to remind me that I had just had surgery!
