I gave this place an extra star for the interesting variety of flavors and toppings. Unfortunately, my experience was horrible. This place is self-service yogurt and toppings. The yogurt machines were dirty and there was a lot of wasted yogurt melting at the bottom of each machine. The girl ahead of me was using her finger to "cut" off the yogurt to her cup. So I definitely did not use those machines. So germ-o-phoebes BEWARE..The topping area, as I stated before had a large selection but since it is "do-it-yourself" the toppings were all over the counter and mixed in together. I will not go back, sorry I wasted the money. read more

Went to the location expecting to just get some yogurt. When I went inside I noticed that the location was basically empty, yet extremely noisy. The employees were all standing near the cash register complaining about their manager taking a chair from their break room. They were unattentive to guests and appeared totally uninterested in their work. read more

Yogurtland is amazing! What I love the most is the self serve and toppings bar. They offer low calorie, non fat yogurt in a variety of flavors. The topping bar is nice because they have both sweets and fruit so you can make your yogurt as healthy as you want. They charge by the weight. If you haven't been, go. read more

A few flavors quite surprised me. Red velvet cake, Taro, Salted Caramel, and Cheesecake. And I'm glad you pay by the ounce, because you can never get ripped off, and you can have exactly as much as you want. Fresh fruit toppings, lots of snacksy goodies, and sauces. Here's the thing. I do like Yogurtland. I just don't understand sometimes why it's so packed. Either you're a topping person or you're a base person. I'm a base person myself; for me, it's all about the yogurt. While you can't go wrong with good old fashioned plain tart yogurt, I wouldn't say the yogurt bases here are the best around. I don't think it's about the toppings either, though. It's not like the toppings here are more exotic or plentiful. I mean, I do like this place, I just don't see what all the fuss is about. The staff is nice and this place is always clean, but sometimes I find the handles at this place a little sticky (as in hard to pull, not as in covered in yogurty mess). Yogurtland is super yummy! I have always been a fan of yogurt places that weigh your food so that you get to decide and control what and how much you get. Yogurtland does this and also has a great choice of yogurt and toppings. They do change out flavors so that is unfortunate when you want something specific and they don't have it - but I can always find something I enjoy. The cool thing about being a grown-up is you can have Yogurtland for supper. Awwwwwesommmmme! Loved the new Capitola store. Very clean and super friendly. So many delish toppings to choose from, and the fruit was really fresh. I don't know what mochi are but they = soft sweet deliciousness. My new love over gummy bears/worms. It was really fun to create my own custom mix and I can't wait to try another. All of a sudden that little area before you hit the Capitola Mall rules with the new additions of Yogurtland and Chipotle. read more

Red Velvet Batter, Vanilla, Chocolate, Tart, Strawberry.. The flavors that never seem to leave this boring location. Im not big on Yelp but I feel as if this place needs a review from me. Earlier in 2017 I bought the book that allows you to get 12oz once a week for a whole year. I got it because my 6 year old son loves Yogurland. I have been using it every week since I got it, I might have missed one or 2 visits in the last 4 months. Every time I go in I get 2 cups that add up to a total of 12oz, the reason being because I dont want my son consuming all 12oz in one sitting, I have him eat half at that time and the other half maybe the next day. It has not been an issue all year long getting 2 cups that add up to 12oz. The other day I went in and I did the same thing I have been doing for my son this whole year, but this time my experience was AWFUL. I was greeted by employee Emilia. Emilia told me that I cant get 2 cups, that I can only get one cup that adds up to 12oz. I explained to Emilia that we have been doing this all year and it has not been an issue. Emilia did not budge, she stood her ground and said she cant do it. So then I take one of the cups and start to scoop it into the other cup. The whole time I was doing that Emilia just shook her head in disgust. So then after I was done it added up to a total of 13oz in one single cup. So then Emilia pulled out the calculator and she started punching some numbers and during that whole time she was doing her calculation for the 1 extra ounce (which clearly says on the board .45 cents per ounce so im not sure what she was calculating) she just kept shaking her head in disgust. I own 2 restaurants in santa cruz county, both Franchises and I would never hire Emelia!!!! I make certain that my guests leave happy, even if its explaining to them the correct policy and letting them have an exception for that visit, but at least the guest knows for the next visit what the correct procedure is. But thats not how she handled it, she blatantly refused to do it, obviously shes not one for customer service. Whats even more sad is I reached out and emailed Barbara Sears who is apparently the General Manager and told her my story. NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HER! At my restaurants its mandatory for my GM's to always respond back to customers within 48hours. I hope the franchisees of Yogurtland read this review and take action for both Emelia and Barbara, but they will only do so if they actually care about their business and their customers. Lets see what happens. read more

I found myself here at Yogurtland. One bite into my delicious, strawberry yogurt and I felt the Lord's presence with me. It was then that I realized what I want to do with my life. YUMMY! I love yogurtland. The chocolate milk shake flavor and pure tart are my favorites. They have a decent amount of toppings and they charge 43 cents per oz. which is the cheapest I've seen. Tried to give Yogurtland a chance since I was really saddened that it put one of my favorite frozen yogurt places out of business. But each of the 3 times I have been, I had bad experiences. This last one today grossed me out because the two customers ahead of us used their fingers to taste 3 different yogurt dispensers. When I asked them to not do that, their response was "What? It's not like these aren't full of germs anyway." I am not sure why they felt the need to add to the germs. I won't be going back. :( read more
