I have been a member at Akasha Yoga for about three months now. I have attended maybe 50 classes…read morethere. I have been to two other Yoga schools and have nothing bad to say about any of them. However, Akasha is the best. The classes are a great stress relief and awesome exercise. The instructors are all very willing to help people new to Yoga, like myself. If this is the last Yoga place that I attend, I will be happy. Aside from relocating, I see no need to go anywhere else. My only complaint is that the store next door (Reclaimed...a artsy used furniture store) blasts their music and hammers on things, so it is difficult to totally relax during meditation when the furniture store is open (fortunately only) on weekends. Akasha also does other fun events to raise money for community projects and causes... drum circles, movie nights, Zumba and Tai Chi. It is a righteous place.

While I had always been interested in trying a yoga class and had enjoyed doing yoga occasionally…read moreat home with a video, I'd always been a little intimidated by fears I'd make a fool out of myself in front of a bunch of experienced yogis. But a friend of mine who belongs to Akasha bugged me to give it a try and offered to take me and my partner as guests on her membership. After the first class, we were hooked. My partner and I went back the very next day and signed up for monthly memberships and began going to classes several times a week. That was last Fall. There are several reasons I love Akasha Yoga. Aside from the warm and peaceful atmosphere, the instructors are all wonderful. Jennifer (the owner) is a fantastic instructor, has great energy, and a great sense of humor. In the months I was a member, I had the opportunity to take classes with all of the instructors at some point, and they are all fantastic in different ways, but they all strive to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome whether you are a complete beginner (like I was) or an experienced yogi. Akasha does a community class once a month on Saturdays that is free to all. Additionally, they raise money for various community causes each month and have different events and special classes planned throughout each month that add to the sense of community at Akasha. My partner and I recently had to move out of the area, and while Crystal Lake is a great suburb that we will miss, what makes us most sad about the move is that we can no longer take classes at Akasha. I would highly recommend this place for anyone interested in giving yoga a try, or for any yoga pros looking for a great place to practice.

It was calm, smelled wonderful and Kristy had a great and loving energy. We talked about what brought me in and what i wanted to get out of my session. Kristy shared with me some of the things she was able to intuit through Reiki about where i was blocked and a special message about my feet. I have had 3 mediumship sessions with Pandora over the past 3 years or so and they both were great…read more I definitely believe in "something" beyond what we can see and touch, but come out more on the skeptical side of things usually. However, my experiences have been so profound that I am willing to publicly attest to Pandora's skill - both psychic and customer service related. Her website describes her as an "evidential psychic medium" and this is very true. I'll echo the sentiments of others - she really does reference things that she has no way of knowing. I have a VERY limited social media presence, and all of my accounts are set to private (except LinkedIn). However, she honed in mental/physical issues that, not only was I aware of and challenged by, but even mentioned the modalities/solutions I was considering (but avoiding, LOL). I'd say that a unique strength of hers was the ability to pick up on and describe relationship dynamics. It's not just people/places/things...but she describes how those she's connecting to connect those pieces, and the advice they have for you to navigate them. Pandora is not cheap - let me be clear. But she is worth EVERY PENNY. I'm so glad I was able to connect with her.

I'm not sure if any of you here recently suffered the pain of letting your beloved fur baby go; but…read moreI needed to have a bit of peace of mind so I hired a professional well known clairvoyant medium channel here in chicago for an in tune phone reading. Her name is pandora psychic and you can contact her here and on Instagram if you need closure, someone kind to talk to or if you recently had a loved one or pet pass away. I don't dole out compliments half heartedly nor do I greedily horde healers or good services all to myself. On NYE my beautiful baby Mr. Valentino the Mobster puss lost interest in food. I went out to buy white castle sliders for myself and my pets and had bought all of Valentino's favorite wet foods including tuna. He had zero interest in eating and over the weekend he rapidly declined and started isolating himself. I had to have him euthanized on January 6th and was saddened because he would have been 17 years old next month on February 21st. Pandora let me vent, answered all my many questions today and gave me insight and a plan to carry out with a list of goals so I could take all the information from my pet and use it to feel empowered and deeply healed. I still miss my Valentino's physical presence but I do feel better after the wonderfully insightful psychic eading I received today She was able to accurately provide me with specific details about my cat and his unique (Lion King) personality. Pandora also described details about people in my past and I found her very intuitive, eager to help and compassionate. Pandora is extremely easy to talk to and worth every penny I spent today because I needed to talk with a genuine channel and medium who absolutely cares about the wellbeing of her clients. I would definitely hire her again for any major life challenges or hard decisions I need to make in the near future. Very few people have a natural gift of clairvoyance so when I personally come across anyone with extraordinary talent and compassion I'm obligated to share them with anyone in need
