By far the best in the area-- the instructors are knowledgeable, friendly, and go the extra mile to help students to excel. They offer a wide variety of classes and levels-- including contemporary, modern, ballet, jazz, and hip hop, as well as fitness classes like WillPower and Grace, Zumba, and their newly added yoga classes. The space itself is gorgeous, bright, clean, spacious, and full of natural light. Right in the heart of downtown, it shows how community oriented the studio is. They frequently host companies, performances, and workshops from Denver and make an effort to give scholarships to students in need. They have become a pillar in Salida's art community and I am so happy to see them continue to grow. You won't be disappointed!

I decided to try Jalablu and joined in for a Community Session with Brandi that was marked as a slow flow but I would consider it between a slow flow and restore class, which was just fine with me. It's not a heated studio or atmosphere controlled - back with the basics, which was lovely. There were clearly regulars there as well as some out of town folks - and of all ages, which is always a great sign. Brandi was a delight and lead the class with ease. Several days later and am still feeling wonderful from my time on the mat. If I was in the area for a summer, this would easily become my go-to for yoga. (And btw - I'm not sure what's up with the photo for this studio on this app - I didn't take any before class because it felt intrusive and honestly, I was there for ME.)

At home I feel very strongly about my heated power yoga--I go 4 or 5 times a week, rain or shine, no matter what. It can be hard to find that when traveling. I first tried CB Power Yoga in 2024, and I went *every day* of our visit in 2025. It's a very welcoming space with easy online signup, multiple classes a day, and affordable rates. Minor note - working out in a (small-ish) heated studio at a high altitude is hard. You have to pace yourself. But at the end the chilled damp towel and open window to let in the 30 degree air feels worth it.
