While in St. Pete Beach, Florida, visiting my mom for Christmas, I was eager to continue on my yoga journey, even while on vacation. Luckily, Nava Yoga Studio was within walking distance of my mom's condo. Additionally, they were offering a wonderful new student special where you could partake in two weeks of unlimited yoga classes for $50. Both my mother and I signed up and have since taken three classes. Each of the instructors has been incredibly well-versed with their own unique style. The three classes have all been a variation of Vinyasa, or flow yoga. I like how the flow can be adapted based on your level of experience. My mom has been looking for a much deeper stretch while I really look to push and challenge myself. The studio itself is quaint and can probably only hold 12 to 15 people comfortably. They do use an app to have you reserve your spot ahead of time but also accept drop-in students for $20 per class (space permitting). They offer a variety of classes both in-studio, virtually on zoom, as well as some beach yoga. If you are like me, visiting from out of town, they do have yoga mats that you can rent for two dollars per session. Nava has been an absolute highlight of my Christmas vacation in Florida.

It was like my body was asleep but my mind was totally aware of how she used her technique to relieve my pain. I was SHOOK. I forgot what it felt like to not have ANY pain. No OTC pain meds, nada. The environment was also very relaxing & I am so lucky my husband found this little gem. Highly recommend checking them out! I will only comment on my massage from Snezana. I asked for deep tissue work and I got it. She did not mess around. Sure it hurt but i told her she could make it hurt and it was great work. Rarely o i leave a massage with knots that have been bothering me for a while are actually gone, but this time some were gone. The place has a kind of hippie vibe to it, not that polished up fancy spa that has therapists right out of school. My gf loved hers too but did not have the deep tissue work i did. I would without hesitation recommend this place to everyone. And the price is better than the "upscale" places too.
