Her voice is so soothing and I always come out so relaxed. Whenever I get a chance to go to the lunch classes with Danielle I also come - great way to re-energize me so I'm not lagging at work in the afternoon. Better than coffee! The space is beautifully decorated and so conducive to meditation. Warmer than most studios, but I actually prefer that. Always clean, with wonderful free organic tea in the front. They also sell pretty bracelets for a good price. Definitely a regular now and would recommend this studio to anyone.

Curtis Williams was a fantastic teacher. He was able to successfully teach an all levels class consisting of 2 highly advanced practitioners and 3 beginners (not a simple task). Music even louder than most Pilates, spin or even Zumba classes I have ever taken. I couldn't hear anything in the back, couldn't focus. None of the panels above us had red lights on as we expected by booking an infrared class [like they have at other studios], so unsure if it's because they didn't have them or because they didn't turn them on this morning...so it just felt like a regular heated class, not infrared. The whole experience was disappointing today, because I have taken several other classes here at Beach Town [yin on Sundays and even some of their outdoor yoga events], and they have been great -- never felt like this. Also, the studio vibe this morning was i.e. yogis on their phone, on their mat, up to class start; someone's looooud alarm going off mid flow; everyone talking so loud, as if at a bar... the energy today felt more like a "Brooklyn hipster fitness yoga" studio than a cleansing, mindful, authentic, grounding yoga journey/experience. I hope that classes at a different time or non-power flow are a better experience than what we experienced this morning. I love Beach Town otherwise :(

Each teacher has their own special gift and they all provide a beautiful, powerful, challenging, and nurturing yoga experience. I love all of the different classes and time options, which make it very easy to work yoga into my schedule. Whatever kind of yoga you are feeling up to each day-- there's a class for that! I also like that there are both hot yoga and non-hot yoga classes, so I can mix it up depending what I'm feeling that day. The BE's raving reputation is well known in the community, and when you visit BE you'll know exactly why. And I have to give a special shout-out. I joined the BE when I found out that Dana Flynn was teaching there. She is truly special. Yoga with her is not just yoga-- it's an experience.

I've been taking him class for close to 3 years and it's full to nearly full every Sunday. Why someone in their leadership thought this was a good idea is so frustrating.
