I missed that deal but got the travelers special, 7 consecutive days for $45. I have gone for 4 days straight so far and am hoping to make it the next 3. This is an amazing deal and an amazing class. Gets packed on the weekends. The instructors are amazing. The facility itself is so clean, the shower is as clean as my shower at home. I am so glad I found this place 10 minutes from my new home.

The studio is super clean and the instructors are awesome. They give extremely detailed directions for each pose which makes it easy for a beginner to fully enjoy the class. Triangle Fitness was the perfect solution. They offer short term memberships, and a packed schedule of fitness classes with imaginative options, in addition to a good assortment of machines and free weights. I liked my kickboxing cardio class, and also a slow yoga routine. The staff is friendly and helpful, the one drawback is the Friday evening traffic into Edgartown, which I avoided by biking over.

I got two great workouts in and felt right at home in a very welcoming community. The owner, Sara, was very friendly and quick to respond on email. The coach, Jo, was knowledgeable and motivating and put an emphasis on demonstrating movement standards and scaling. One interesting aspect of CMV is that they always have two WODs you can choose from- as a drop-in I definitely appreciated being able to choose the one that worked best for me on those days. The gym is small but well equipped and with a great outdoor space and two workouts they were able to accommodate a large class (over 20) with no problems. If you live in MV and are looking to pick up Crossfit or are an experienced Crossfitter looking to drop in while on vacation I highly recommend giving Crossfit Martha's Vineyard a try!

Like the CrossFit gym I'm used to at home in Oregon, her program attracts very fit people to those who are just starting out or back on a fitness journey. I wish they still had the wide grip lat pull down bar, as it is hard to use the machine to get a wide enough grip to target the lats without over using your upper traps. But why quibble over trifles?
