I love this place! First off, everyone who works here is lovely and so helpful. I am a beginner and I struggle a lot during the classes, but the instructors always help me. They are so polite and always ask before they help you. The center itself is beautiful, they offer so much. They have a store with all the equipment, clothes, and more. When you enter there's a coffee and tea station right by the lounge. They have all the equipment you need for any class on site as well! You only need to bring a mat and some classes don't even use it. I have done 3 different classes with 3 different instructors, and all of them were amazing. I highly recommend this place, whether you are a beginner or an expert. They have so many membership options and a 30 day trial for $30 that is soooo worth it!! I feel so great after every class. I love this studio. I've been going for about a year now and keep finding more things to love. Jen and Carrie's Restorative classes are great. Tara and Lauren are wonderful aerial teachers. Tara's community Meditation is very chill and relaxing. The aerial workshops are fun and beginner friendly. Aerial Restorative with Jen is an amazing combination of Restorative with silks as props instead of blocks and bolsters. The front desk staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful. read more

Disappointed In the customer service. When I started at this studio I loved it for the values. After my 4 month auto renew commitment ( that's the duration I was told) I decided to cancel because a family health emergency and relocation. I called to cancel over the phone and it was said to be done. A couple months later I am still getting charges, no biggie. I called to get the refund because I am no longer there. And there was no help once so ever or a refund. I am very disappointed in the way a yoga studio that is promoting positivity and wellness to disregard a customers issue or request. I have worked at a studio before and have never dealt with this. Very sad to view a studio in this way.. read more

Very cute little yoga studio in harford county. I did the 30 days for $30 trial and I think I got a good idea of the classes and what the studio is like. Only class I didn't try was the aerial yoga. The teachers are all very knowledgeable and helpful and there seems to be a great community of people that go there. Only qualms about this place are that the studio is TINY so you absolutely have to reserve a spot online prior to class time, and most of their classes are full or almost full (even on weekdays in the middle of the day) and they don't really have any room to grow where they're located. I would also say that sometimes the teachers move really quickly through positions and don't always explain them, and even as someone who has practiced yoga for 5 years I sometimes had difficulty following them. Otherwise, I really like this studio and will definitely be back for more classes! read more

Tonight I met up with two of my girlfriends to take the $7 community drop-in hot yoga class. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a YogaCentric water bottle as a fist-time guest. I was also given a tour of the facility which houses a studio for arial practice and another for hot. There are showers stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, disposable razors, etc. They have a small area with clothing for sale and a lounge area with hanging chairs while you wait for class. Like most yoga studios, there are towels and mats for rent for $2 if you don't have your own or have forgotten for the class. One really nice touch is the water station which has cups for hot or cold water, to make tea or infuse with lemon or herbal flavors. Tonight's session was lead by ANGELA. I didn't catch her last name but she mentioned she usually teaches on Thursday's. She was INCREDIBLE. I've tried a lot of studios and sampled many instructors but she has been the best I have ever been led by. The flow was consistently moving. I swear so much that my eyes were burning!! She took the time to show us 4 options of a move, where we all came to the very front of the room. She made the entire room feel like family. Her enthusiasm was motivational and her voice was engaging. I can't say enough great things. The community classes rotate instructors but I definitely plan on coming back and also signing up for more of Angela's classes. read more

I am beyond grateful for this amazing studio. I could be having a bad day and as soon as I walk through those doors, everything melts away. Coral and Candice have done a beautiful job of creating my happy place. Whether you are brand new to yoga or have more experience there is a class that fits your needs. Yoga Centric offers 30 days for $30 so you can try as many classes as you like with different teachers to get a great idea of classes and teachers you enjoy the most. Each teacher brings their own spin on class, and the best part is Coral and Candice encourage teachers to bring our own ideas to class, whether it's music, new classes, fun poses, etc. We are encouraged to be creative. We are encouraged to make sure every student is safe in poses, feels comfortable during class, stays on their mat and doesn't compete with anyone else, and remembers to listen to their body so they don't go beyond their edge. It's the first place I've truly felt like I am me; I can be the yoga teacher I've dreamed of being at other studios. They have both encouraged and supported me in becoming a better teacher. The yogis that come to class are amazing. It is like a little community where everyone is welcome. I hope that each student leaves with a new outlook, happy, and that they feel confident to take their light off their mat. Yoga Centric offers workshops, aerial yoga, live music yoga, therapeutic yoga and Groove. It's more than a hot yoga studio, even though the hot yoga classes are incredible!! They have focused on every little detail, down to the doTERRA essential oil towels at the end of every class, diffusers, lighting, showers that are loaded with everything you need so you don't have to bring anything to the studio but yourself, an amazing boutique, and a feeling of home in the lounge. They encourage students to stay after class and talk to the teachers, cry, laugh, and socialize with others in the lounge. Seriously, I never want to leave. Coral and Candice have put their hearts and souls into this studio and I can't thank them enough for opening such an incredible studio. I can't wait to see what they have in store for the future! I would give this place a zero if I could. I have been practicing yoga at home and several yoga studios for years. For the new year, I decided to try out this new studio my friend told me she heard about and I cannot be more disappointed. I took a class with the studio owner, "Coral". I wanted to leave within the first 5 minutes of class. She did not know what yoga is or how to teach it. I've never experienced such a shallow yoga class. She moved through the poses faster than I've ever seen before. I almost had a yoga injury as a result of her teaching. She's clearly marketing this place as a workout, not a true yoga experience. I've been following them online and now they're mixing yoga with ALCOHOL at their workshops, not so yogic to me ha. I am so disappointed and I can't see them staying in business for too long. The place is as shallow as the people who go there and the people who run it. The location itself is not visible to many people and the building is badly put together. The studio is way too small for the amount of people they cram in there. The owner has a lot to learn and a lot to change if she wants to continue in her "yoga" business. A start would be if she figures out what yoga actually is and stops giving people a fake yoga experience with her crazy fast classes and annoying cues. She's giving yoga a bad name! It's almost like she's making fun of what yoga is supposed to be. You can be sure that I am no longer following them on any social media and I will never return. Please do not waste your time and money on this horrific place and horrible, HORRIBLE teacher. If you want yoga, you won't get it here. I would recommend Peace Yoga if you want to stay local and have a relaxing yoga experience. If you still want power yoga, go over to Charm City or Sid in Towson. Anywhere but Yoga centric, that place is a complete waste of money!!! read more
