The Beef massaman is the best I have ever had. Pad Prik, Rice noodle, argh, nearly every dish is superb but it doesn't stop there. Such curteous, generous staff. They refill your water, always see when your done or if you need more rice (which you could help yourself but they will smile/take over if you do, which I find top quality service). The venue is so tranquil, with its beautiful canary yellow over shade and blossom tree's, no wonder its the locals favourite in Pennant Hills, because the manager there listens to feedback, and follow through. I just wish this place could win awards, because it really is an amazing place. It's been here longer than other thai places, and despite competition they are still there unlike most restaraunts in that area who come and go. Its cheaper, its more quantity for quality and the type of place where they always exceed your expectations, even when you keep coming back. Go there for a first date, a birthday (they dim the lights and stars appear on the roof, sing, just wow). Can't stop raving, just go and you'll see how good this place really is, Was the only place I ate at when I lived in the Hills, but will always visit and make the drive up.

Sevardi Italian restaurant has evolved into a wine and tapas bar. The wine menu is interesting and…read morealso includes Australian spirits and ciders. However the tapas menu is very disappointing. The menu shows very little imagination and the execution of the tapas did not live up to the hype on their Facebook/Web pages. We started with eggplant tapenade and pâté, both straight out of the fridge which was a mismatch to the warm toasted bread. Eggplant was bitter, however the gherkins helped lift the pâté. Salt and pepper calamari was the worst I've ever had -- enormous rings with no salt or pepper. The one highlight was the garlic prawns which were well seasoned and tasty. The last dish we tried were the beef skewers - unseasoned mince on skewers with the same salad we'd seen twice before -- mixed leaves with a balsamic glaze. Unless someone gives the food some taste and oomph this great opportunity for a longed-for wine bar in Beecroft will slip away.

The pasta, which used to be one of the worst things to order has completely change and now comes out of the kitchen full of flavour. The meals are quite good and they do children's plates for ankle biters. The service is excellent with attentive staff who look as if they are interested in you as a person. I love veal so I always go for one of their many dishes: I recommend the veal with peppercorns or the veal Caretta (wine, mushrooms, ceam, mozzarella and tomato sauce) It's just a little suburban restaurant but has something a little extra special. If you haven't booked you will have to eat early as they do get crowded.

FOOD We got the set mother's day menu for 8 plus added on a few extra dishes. The quality of food that day was very sub-standard. A full restaurant meant the chef's probably weren't on their best game and were just trying to mass produce the set menu items. They missed out crab as well which we forgot about because there was already too much food. The boss was nice enough to come over himself to apologise and ask us if we wanted them to cook it to take it home with us or he'd take off the $70 from our bill. OVERALL Disappointed that day but I'll be back on another Monday night when the chef's can pay more attention to my food.
