The masseuse's movements were fast and jerky... far from relaxing or therapeutic. Overall the massage was completely unbalanced. What was done on the right side was never matched in the left. Problem areas that were obvious were ignored and attention given to areas that needed none. When they said the massage was all done and I hadn't had a hotel. I asked at the end one and was told I didn't need one because the oil was good for my skin. Not the customer service I'd expect. Left wanting to go get a real massage. Not satisfied at all. There was no privacy while getting a massage. The masseuse advise me that they a policy to leave all doors open. Felt very uncomfortable that people are walking by and have a chance to see into the room. The masseuse also was not engaging with me as far as my massage needs. The pressure was poor. We go here because its close to where we stay every 2-3 months down. It seems like they have a lot of turnover of the girls which makes me wonder about it, especially since they have racks of clothes hidden behind screens in some of the rooms. Their technique is different than what I get up north. They do about 30% of it 'through' a rough towel. They use their bony sharp elbows and forearms, more than they use hands. If you get Ava the boss, she is in and out of the room constantly answering the phone, and checking people in/out. I'm still in search of a great massage salon in this area. We go back to this one more than others because they always have openings and work late. I wish they would just use their hands and direct skin to skin contact and ditch the rough towel massage with the elbows and forearms. read more

The masseuse who worked on me was physically sick-left the room multiple times to relieve herself however she needed too...then it was explained to me that today was Chinese New Year-which I googled it and it was actually 4 days ago-and that would explain her illness. There was some signing to indicate drinking but who know...also, I felt I had to indicate that I wanted a massage not to have sex acts offered...I had to state repeatedly to stay out of my butt and not only was she mounting me from behind her hair was all over me...not professional and not good. The best massages I've ever had! I've been to 3-4 of the therapists so far, and each one has been amazing! They apply just the right amount of pressure and also know pressure points to help relieve soreness and headaches. Now I have come to Ylan's several times all with decent results, but this last time put the nail in the coffin. I went for an hour body massage. I went into the room and something definitely didn't sit right with me, and the covering on the table were dirty, from use. I asked for another room. I guess they though the dim lights would mask their filth. Next a woman comes in and starts massaging me rather hard using only her elbows and arms over a rough towel but no hands. I told her I like gentle massages on top and firm on legs and feet. After several minutes of her elbowing me, She climbed up behind me and started standing on my back. Now in all good conscience why in God's name would I want feet on my body?!!!! But I figured, give her a minute maybe the massage will start shortly. And it went on, I told her I like my legs massaged too, so she stepped on my legs and then my feet, thought she was going to break my bones. I left and in all my years of being a client of various massage service providers, this was the first time I didn't leave a tip. She didn't massage my legs, ankles and feet where water accumulates from having high blood pressure. She didn't massage my neck where I have pinched nerves. And the next day my back is screaming in pain where she walked. These are the cases where massage salons like this should be shut down. Poor cleanliness and inadequate knowledge of the proper way to massage. If this woman was tired then she should have gone home and done the crappy service she provided at $70./hr. I complained to the front desk and all she said was did you tell her, of course I did. Then she said thanks for coming. That's a back handed insult if I ever heard one. If any think should be taken away here is this, be weary of places that do not change their coverings an have no knowledge or skill to offer services which could do more harm than good. I scheduled a massage for my husband today and he said it was amazing! He has a chronic bad back and it has been made worse by lots of heavy lifting. The girl walked on his back and legs and he said he is feeling so much better for the treatment. I highly recommend them and also add that they were very accommodating as far as scheduling was concerned. Will be back! read more

I have had three massages here and each time I came out with excellent relaxed feelings. I Had recently recovered from serious illness and the massages I received here were awesome! Tina and Lilly both were excellent in their own way, soft and gentle with my body as I had very little muscle mass left. Once, I had recovered from my illness, my last massage recently was accordingly was relaxing and the massage pressure on my body was just right. I would recommend this place highly. read more
