Sure, that's great for the business, but for the customer, that means less attention and a lot of hurrying. Even with a reservation, we were told to be out within 90 minutes. What?! I just got here and you're talking about kicking me out? Not a great way to start... Immediately, he storms off to another table... Luckily, an older lady with more sense of customer service comes to serve us after bringing our drinks. When ordering, to my surprise, neither toro or hamachi were available, despite being displayed on the tabletop menu. We end up going with a few other nigiri and two rolls. The nigiri is nothing special. The fish did not taste fresh or flavorful and there was absolutely no interaction between the rice and the fish. The rolls were surprisingly large. Perhaps due to the overuse of sauces, but again, the fish flavour does not come through. Very very disappointing for a place that seems authentic and masterful in its craft. Final word: I probably should have taken the young host's initial advice and filled ourselves up with the simplest rolls they know how to make. This is definitely not a sushi restaurant, it's a buffet.

The services were really friendly and they all spoke in fluent english, and don't worry if you can't pronounce crazy german words - there is an english menu for you. The food are not cheap, one nigiri is about 6 euro or more - and the rolls are about 15 euro+. However, i think it is acceptable in this kind of touristy place. I am from Taiwan, and traveled to japan more than 20 times. To be honest, we were worried about the quality of the sushi at first since the european taste of Japanese food is really different than the real asian taste. But, the dishes were decent ! It was fusion and creative, but it doesn't lose the spirit and soul of authentic. The sashimi was sliced with the right angle with about 0.4 cm, and it was fresh. The rolls were fresh with a good twist of fusion sauce - you won't get tired of the taste even after 8 pieces. In general, i would totally recommend for you if you are craving some sushi or asian fusion dishes - the only note is that this place is not cheap and it would probably cost you around 70- 90 euros to have a full meal.

What I don't think is appropriate was allowing a dog to sit at a table in a restaurant. I observed a guest with her dog in her lap and tables are super close. After she was done we were seated at that table and I had to request the table be cleaned. The host which was also the cashier and server was nice but seemed a bit overwhelmed (understandably). Food was served quickly. I ordered pho and it wasn't hot it was warm to touch and broth didn't "cook" or "steam" added veggies. Portion size was decent. Flavor was okay. For the cost it definitely had room for more vegetables to be added. Water isn't free so make sure you bring or know before hand. Prices are reasonable. I saw lots of people ordering other things and they all looked and smelled delicious. Decor was super cute!
