Never in my life have I been followed and hovered over like this in a music store. The owner (I assume) acted like it was an inconvenience that I was there, and the worker awkwardly watched and followed me while standing behind me as I tried the instruments. All the while the owner, he stood behind the counter cussing like a sailor with my wife in the store. I found an instrument I liked and asked how their trades work as I have plenty I'd be willing to trade. They informed me that they find the value of your trade and then offer you 70% of its worth to go towards the trade. I'd rather shove my guitar through a woodchipper than ever take that deal. I decided to order the same model online for 300 dollars cheaper. I will never give a penny to this place and I will never recommend this place. I know plenty of musicians and none of them would stand for this experience. I will add that this store has two parts, the antique shop in the front with the lady behind the counter was very pleasant. The guitar section in the back is what this review focuses solely on.

At the same time the two lines of business are often interrelated and there is not a dotted line drawn down the middle of their shop or a magic wall of silence somewhere in the middle of the floor. As to my business they have always run a professional, efficient, and friendly gunshop including not only transactions, but also the typical gunshop talk over and beside the counter. During the time I spend there people come in to pawn items, sell items or just to buy something on sale. I observed that part of their business is just as professional, efficient, and friendly. They are very knowledgable about all of their products and unsurprisingly regularly win the annual "Best of Morgantown" contest in their category. Highly Recommended whether gun shop or pawnshop!
