Coin collecting is not my forte. In fact, I have zero interest in it. So imagine my dread inheriting sizeable collection from my parents. The only reason I picked this place was because a friend drove by it on her work and texted me the address. The shop is in a surprisingly busy plaza, easy to find with plenty of parking. Because they carry coins, jewelry and other valuables, don't be surprised at the locked door. I was greeted promptly and explained my issue. They happily took my large collection and immediately started to dig in. It took them about 45 minutes to evaluate the entire collection - but they were thorough and stopped several times so I'd know exactly what they were doing and why. By the time they were done, I was quite pleased with their offer and left with check in hand. A suggestion: I'd done some research prior to coming, so nothing was too huge of a surprise, I'm rather proud that I managed to bring in the right kinds of things. Do your research first on what you can - and should - take to Coinstar, it will save time! In short, an excellent experience. These folks really know what they are doing. Inherited a coin collection and didn't really know what to do with it. Did some research tto help sort items of value verses face value. Took the face value stuff to coin star. I walked in without an appointment and the nice gal behind the counter said that they had people there that would be happy to go through it right then. Went back to the car and brought in a slew of stuff, then sat down and let them do what they needed to do. Right away you could tell that these people knew what they were doing, the two gentleman jumped right in and started sorting. They split the items up and each of them tackled a portion of it. They did an excellent job of talking me through what they were doing - "this stack is counted and tallied up here" "this stack is silver and worth (whatever) each". I felt included during the entire process. I read the reviews here and will say that there were times when the gentlemen were deep in thought and may have appeared a bit short - but I didn't feel they were rude or off-putting at all. They were busy and trying to do their job, which is make money and yet treat me fairly. I think they accomplished that. I am very pleased with them and highly recommend them. read more

Now I understand why some are put off by customer service. The gentleman that waited on me took no time even looking at the two items I had. He seemed to be irritated that I only had two items. Dealing with this kind of stuff makes me nervous. I won't be back. I will be looking for another dealer to bring my other items to. read more

Went to Yesterdays Change today and was incredibly disappointed. I was there to buy some fractional Gold. The good: They have a great storefront. Parking is easy and convenient to get to. Facebook page and Website is "somewhat active". The bad: Upon arrival today I saw 2 people entering the store. I walked up to the front door and as in most coin stores they have a "ring bell" for entrance. I did that and an employee was standing at the door looking at me. I rang the bell and he continued to look at me. I proceded to open the door and the employee allowed it to just barely open and is a sharp tone of voice stated "We are closed". He then repeated "We are closed". I at this time did notice a sign that stated they were closed (no reason given). The Facebook and Website did not reflect this change of hours for today. I figured it was a temp thing and got some lunch. I called after lunch and a employee answered on the first ring. I inquired about their hrs and was told "We are closed" and was hung up on. Lesson learned: If you are going to be closed on a Monday (for example today Columbus day) please state you are closed on your Facebook/Website. Today you had a first time customer drive 20 miles to be shown how crappy your customer service is. Above was my first review.....Below is the revised review After this review was posted the owner reached out to me and apologized for the episodes. We exchanged emails and ultimately they ended up buying quite a bit of Silver from me. They gave a fair price and the process was very quick and professional. Very awkward experience today at yesterday change. To their credit they are mainly a mail order business, I didn't know that before hand. I went into the store to look for bullion, it was followed by what do you want. There no display case, every thing is sort of a la carte. There's no browsing or anything like that. They mainly only have current year stuff, so if you are looking to complete a bullion set forget it. So I finally said let me see your eagles and he asked what year and explain there's a premium based on the year. At this point I'm very frustrated, I believe up to this point I've given him enough information to know I'm not a novice. So I proceed to ask him for the highest priced eagles, so he knows I'm not a novice and left. One of the worst coin experiences I ever had. I'm glad they are mail order because their physical customer service is very bad. read more

Called them about selling an old piece of 80/20 platinum, an antique cigarette box. Their response by phone was: SURE! we would like to look at it. Drive to their store and their attitude changed 180 degrees, to, "we don't buy scrap platinum". A "great" effing place if you have time to kill and don't mind arrogant a**holes who have nothing better to do than waste your time for profit. read more

This company is a scam. I ordered 3 coins from them, a few days later I received an email stating that one of the coins that cost $55 is now going to cost $109 and do I want to purchase it for the $109. I sent them an email back stating that I wanted the coin advertised on their website for $55 and not $109. A few days later they, without notification , cancelled the entire order and sent a refund for the entire amount, leaving MY customers without the coins they had ordered. What a slimy low down cheating lying way to do business, I have told my friends about this scam and they will NOT be ordering coins from this scamming company...
